“Dr. Kari Hawkins and her practice, Advance Integrative Medical Center, are a true gem! I have had problems with my neck, couldn't sleep well, wake up with a sore back and very sore hips. “Thank you so much Dr. I was in pain for over a year, went to a few doctors and their option was costly surgery, but it turned out I just needed therapy and I was so much less pain on my first visit. I was unable to walk without a brace and since my first session I have not even touched those braces. I recommend everyone in some sort of physical pain should look into this modern non evasive method of healing. The staff is top notch, clean and friendly.“

“I have sought Christi’s services for a few different conditions including stress and anxiety, chronic ear infections and immune system issues. This most recent round, I decided I wanted to tackle the Covid-induced loss of taste I had been dealing with for over a year.In particular, my ability to taste salty and sweet was basically gone. It was extremely annoying in general but was also affecting my ability to properly cook for my family! After ONE session with Christi there was a huge improvement. “My 90 year old father needed an MRI and because he has a pacemaker, it's more complicated to get an appointment (because the facility needs to have an MRI machine that the pacemaker is compatible with). Initially, the imaging facility my dad's doctor suggested told me they would need to have someone get back to me about the pacemaker and that I could expect a call within 24/48 hours. When they didn't call, I called back and had to speak to several people (all of whom seemed capable of answering the question unlike the first call but I was disconnected twice before the third call each time having to start over). After more than hour on the phone, the third person finally told me that they did not have an imaging machine compatible with my dad's pacemaker. This whole process ended up delaying the MRI for my dad for more than 1 week. The day I got Westside Medical Imaging's number, I called and spoke to Dolly. She was polite, informative and responsive. Within an hour she confirmed that they had a compatible machine and they could see my dad 2 days later. She emailed the paperwork to fill out so my dad's time could be minimized. When we got there, the front desk personnel (which included Dolly) were very kind and helpful. They also had arranged to have a technician from the pacemaker company available to put my dad's pacemaker in the MRI mode. The same person was there to set the pacemaker back after my dad was done. Bobby, the imaging tech, was incredibly patient, kind and helpful. He expressed genuine interest in my dad and gently helped him get to the machine. Despite there being 3 separate studies, the whole process was completed in less time than was predicted. I was able to get my dad back to the house earlier than expected. This experience stood in stark contrast to an experience my wife had with a different imaging facility just the day before. I am very grateful to Westside Medical Imaging and would highly recommend them to anyone.“

“Dr. Hoang is brilliant and caring doctor, who incorporates natural medicine with western medicine. He is a master of the human body, both physically and mentally.I truly would say Dr. Hoang has saved my mom's life, more than once. Her regular doctors had her on too many prescription meds. She has now been off most of them and is having much less problems. His recommended supplements are usually beneficial, although sometimes scheduling them into the day, feels overwhelming.Sometimes contacting the office is challenging and they don't always return calls promptly. The staff is busy, but always polite.Email and phone appointments are effective for many follow-up visits. We trust him so much, we will be scheduling phone appointments with him for my in-laws, that live out of state.The office will bill insurance but does require full payment at time of visit. I later received a check from my insurance company in the mail.“

“Dr. Monika and her nurse Kenneth were very kind, patient, and focused towards me. Kenneth Was very affirming and helpful. He helped me to understand the process of my exam and administrated my vaccines with ease and confidence, which made the experience go well. Dr. Monika took the time to listen to and answer “all” of my questions; I did not feel rushed, although I got to my appointment very late. She went above and beyond when she risked ordering a blood type lab at my request (knowing that she may take flack for it), but because I wanted to know, she did it. I also got a Shingles and tetanus vaccine, all with one request. When I went to get my lab test done. A young man at the lab office was so welcoming and encouraging. I was blown away by the joy he expressed towards every person whose name he was calling in for their lab work. The person who took my blood was also kind; it was like I was at a family of reunion and I was the guest of honor. I was not surprised when I saw the photo, near the elevator, of the physician in charge. The handsome man in the bowtie has been my personal friend for several years, Dr. Eric. Then my good first visit experience at Dr. M.L. King center all made sense to me because everyone reflected the loving family physician patients focused care of Dr. Eric Emel. I guess it’s true everything rises and falls on good leadership.“

Overall everyone was extremely friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond it felt like home the doctor was really nice and the wait wasn't long at all! They also take my insurance which a lot of places usually don't take so I'm definitely gonna be back it's worth the trip!
