“I switched to Dr. Smith and Petaluma Veterinary Hospital, as I had heard about this hospital through a friend. For one thing,it is in closer proximity to where I live and their hours are more regular. The most important thing,however, is that my dog has developed anxiety. Everyone took their time with her and did not push the 1st time exam. It ended up being a meet and greet appointment. I value the respect that was given to my girl. We are coming back in a week for a 2nd visit.Terry.“

“I'm so grateful. The best experience I've had with a veterinary office of any kind. The staff is amazing. Incredibly friendly. Cared more about my dog than over charging for needed elements of care than people can not generally afford during financial hardship or not. Less than 24 hours after appointment I received a text with lab results which explained her symptoms. Her medication for the condition was available for pick up the next day. AND then...... spring of 2022 my girl was having symptoms that were highly concerning me. I kept calling them to get her an appointment \u0026 they kept blowing me off. Well she was VERY VERY SICK. I was told her blood work was so messed up the vet said she must of ate something toxic. At that point she had kidney failure \u0026 to attempt to save her life the first 24 hours would cost about $5000.“

“My filly had a one in a million chance of pulling through a Severe hoof injury. Dr. Jordan Bui (Hewitt), and staff worked diligently from day one with every means at their disposal. My filly was hospitalized there for three weeks and then came home for follow up treatment ev. 3 weeks. I've met other competent and skilled vets but None that showed me the caring and dedication like Dr Bui (Hewitt) and the AMAZING staff at CLAH. Cant praise them enough!“

I call and the phone is answered, I am not put on hold. I ask for an appointment and one is available within days, not weeks. I get follow up messages checking in on pets following a visit. I am almost speechless! Such a change from my prior experience!! And I am most impressed with the thoroughness of the veterinarian’s care. My elder dog has a long and complex history and Dr Castro took the time to read it all before moving forward with suggestions for care. Impressive!“

He gets so excited when he sees Kristen, his rehab person. Dr. Labelle is amazing. Very knowledgeable, kind and patient. You can't go wrong with them. I drive every week for an hour each way to see them. It's also fun to see all the horses.“

“I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kong, her medical assistant Carol, and the other staff members at Cotati Small Animal Hospital. Our 12-year-old dog arrived in serious condition, and, while there is no cure for his kidney failure, Dr. Kong came up with a treatment plan that is enabling him to enjoy life again for as long as he has left. His eyes are bright again; he has a little pep; she has helped bring him back from death's door. The folks there all treat our little guy with tenderness and treat us with compassion. Dr. Kong also helped us consider the costs of different treatment paths so we could decide what was right for us. Plus, she calls after hours, after long days treating patients, to give us updates when necessary.“

“I absolutely recommend them! Amazing Animal Hospital and staff! Our German Shepherd is a rescue and we move around a lot so finding a new vet can be difficult! Our vet we had in Alaska and Texas were amazing! We never had any problems taking her in for a yearly exam/vaccinations. Once we moved here we went to this other animal hospital that was supposed to be good/low stress handling but it went terribly. So I put up recommendations for a good animal hospital on Facebook. Shortly after a friend recommended Adobe Animal hospital to me. I am so thankful they did! I called to set up an appointment for our dog mid December so it was about a 6 week wait because they were scheduling all new patients 6-8 weeks in advance which was absolutely fine with us/worth the wait! We took our dog in last week just to update her vaccinations/do an exam. I saw they have outdoor patio exam areas so I asked for that option. Within 5-10 minutes the nurse and Dr. Katerina Kidwell came back with her and talked to us about how the exam/vaccinations went. Everything went amazing and she did great! They just let us know she was a bit scared but otherwise did great! They gave us some treats to give her afterwards as well! I really appreciate how nice they were to our dog/us! I can’t thank them enough for treating her so well!“

“I never felt alone. Dr Venable was kind, caring, empathetic while at the same time professional and thorough. Our goat Will had a blocked urethra and she worked hard to save him. Even though the prognosis was bad, she tried everything possible but let me know when we were out of options and that it was time to euthanize. She was available even after hours and came out 3 times to offer her care and services. I would highly recommend Cotati Large Animal!“
“Our precious dog Milou had double knee surgery at VRSS at the end of June. Dr. Russ Gurevitch and his staff were outstanding the day of surgery and have continued to impress us at each follow up visit she has had since. Everyone in the office is very warm and caring which absolutely was NOT true of a couple of the other places we called for consultations before ultimately deciding to go with Dr. Russ. The kicker too was that the cost was significantly lower (by several hundred dollars) than some of the other facilities that we could have gone with. Warm, caring service and the best prices too? Yes please! Their office also accepts Care Credit so you don't have to skip meals to pay for your animal's care. We got set up on a year long interest free plan which helped us to take care of Milou without strapping ourselves financially. Obviously we all hope that our furry family members never need surgery but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Russ to anyone that is looking for a quality surgeon at a reasonable price for that type of work.“

She never got impatient and was happy to do whatever needed to be done to take care of Allie, although she had a waiting room full of other goldens waiting for care.. It must have been golden day at the clinic.“

“New to the area, i had tried one vet clinic but wasn't thrilled with the cold detached after consult from the vet/owner so looked further for another vet to see my cat. I read many reviews but Washington Square caught my eye and I made an appt with Dr. Boutilier who happened to have the first appt open. To say I was impressed and immediately connected by her warmth and manner of relaying information is putting things mildly! She was very honest with me and didn't go ordering a bunch of tests..she referred the allergy symptoms to a dermatology vet to narrow down what was causing the iching/licking problems. She easily could have had me come back for all kinds of tests but knew the dermatology vet could probably get there quicker. She sees dog allergies on a daily basis but cat allergies are not that common. (this is not to say she wouldn't have eventually helped the allergy in my cat; she just wanted the fastest result by referring). She is still my cat's vet for all other issues and i feel so lucky i found this clinic. While my bond is definitely with Dr. B, I would see any of the other vets in the office if necessary.“
