“Sometimes you come across a person/business that restores your faith in humanity! We had a really large tree branch come crashing down onto our house in the latest storm associated with the CA atmospheric river. We asked a couple of arborists to come by to look at the situation. After talking about the situation with me and viewing pictures, Jason (Bartlett, Portola Valley) said the job could probably be done by a skilled gardener, offered instructions as to how to take the branch down safely, and added that it would probably cost a lot if we hired an arborist (including his company). He then offered to come by in the late afternoon/early evening to see it in person. When he arrived, he quickly took the branch down himself with his chain saw and left it in smaller, disposable pieces. He said there was no charge! Needless to say, we will use this company in the future for any tree needs we have and recommend that any one reading this review do likewise.“

“We had a redwood and Oak trees removed. Ed was very knowledgeable and professional – he even took care the permit for us. Definitely, recommend!In the winter of 2023, Ed and his teams "Neck of the Woods" helped us again to take care of hazardous 100' tree on my property, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their professionalism and dedication. The tree had experienced a failure of one of its tops, which landed precariously on my roof. Ed provided Arborist Report and submitted to the county and diligently pursued the county to expedite the hazardous 100' tree removal with the permits. Their expertise and guidance were instrumental in navigating bureaucratic hurdles, ensuring a swift resolution to a potentially dangerous situation. As the tree was dismantled, it became evident that there was a split between the two remaining larger tops, reinforcing the urgency of the removal. “Brothers Service Tree Care just pruned nearly 30 trees on my property and did an outstanding job from beginning to end.The project started with a free estimate from Angel, their arborist. Compared to talking with other arborists, I felt much more confident in Angel's knowledge of trees and recommendations for their care. Angel did a great job of explaining the why behind his recommendations and walked me through how the work would be done. Angel and the front office (Monserrat) were super responsive to my follow up requests and questions before we finalized the agreement.As discussed, Angel stopped by with the crew on the day of the job slightly early to do a walk through with my wife and me to make sure our expectations were clear. In the walk through, he noted a few extra plants that needed some trimming and kindly offered to take care of those for no extra charge.Within a day, his crew did a beautiful job of topping off and thinning out a lot of overgrown trees.
