Vita is great! The owner, Katy, is super nice and friendly and always coming up with different activities and classes to help this place stand out in a unique/welcoming way. The teachers are also super knowledgeable and the atmosphere is super pleasant. Even though I no longer live in Oakland, I wanted to leave a review because I miss this spot! :)

Love Vita, they provide the yoga mats and tools needed, if any. The instructions are clear, and you get a very good workout. The space is clean, and the instructors are friendly. They also offer other classes for a healthy lifestyle.

Attended my first barre class here, at this particular studio. It was a good class...pretty intense....a bit more 'cardio' than I'm accustomed to, vs barre classes I've attended, elsewhere. I suppose what also made it a bit intense for me was that the studio got quite warm from all the body heat...and there didn't appear to be any fans running. So I had to pause a number of times, to ensure that I wasn't overheating.The space is very nice. I also saw what appeared to be a small 'playroom' perhaps, for people who may have young children that they need to bring along, while they are attending a class here.
