“My husband first found Sit Means Sit from walking by the Huntington Beach location. He then looked them up online and saw all the rave reviews. Making an orientation appointment for our 6wk old Malinois/Shepherd/Husky mix puppy was quick and easy. We met with JD who was personable, kind, and informative. With our dog being so young he suggested she attend the puppy class that was for free on Saturday mornings from 9-10a until she was older and able to train. We attended that class for about 10 weeks and decided that she responded to the center and trainers so well and we were ready to sign up. We were able to request Chris a trainer that we had met a few times in puppy class. We really loved his training style and his love for the puppies. We decided to do the board and train and Chris gave us video and text updates throughout the process. When he brought her back to us she was more grown up and listened so well. She still had her loving sassy personality and was eager to obey. We are so pleased with our experience so far and are eager to see what else our Harley can learn. Thank you to all the staff from the front desk and trainers that we have encountered.“

“We have been bringing our dogs there since 2015. They love Gary! We had one Lab and 2 Golden Retrievers who have found a second home there. Last month, we had to travel overseas for 3 weeks and were sad about leaving Teddy for so long. But Gary did a fantastic job to keep him busy and took him for walks regularly. “Winston completed a two week board and train with Bark Collective. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate the Bark Collective team for taking on Winston. He is not any easy dog - trash eater, aggressive, stubborn, reactive. Winston’s world was restricted because of the aforementioned but due to Casandra and the other Bark Collective trainers, they have made Winston’s world bigger where he can explore and live a happy dog life. Since Winston has been home, we have successfully gone to parks with different landscapes (rocks, sand, wood chips) and surroundings (dogs, bikes, runners), and he has not exhibited any behavioral issues. We are excited to keep taking him to different places and reinforcing what Casandra has taught us. Bark Collective saved Winston’s life by giving us the tools and training to thereby give the life Winston so desperately needed from us. “I have been working with Jenny to train my dog for the past 10 months and she is incredible! After several attempts with other trainers I finally found one that really helped me train my dog. I went from having an anxious velcro dog to a well regulated dog with good behavior and better socialization. He stopped jumping and barking at people, counter surfing and doesn’t pull on walks. Jenny is always available to answer any questions that arise between sessions. I highly recommend her.“

“Brandi is AMAZING! We got our pup from a rescue he was not able to go on a walk without panicking out of control and hard to handle. We were referred to The Hounds Grounds and after a few sessions, you could really see him change, we purchased a package and just finished today. He is a completely different dog. “After extensive research for a professional team to provide advanced training for ADA service dog certification, we confidently selected Good Dog OC and Adam’s team.There are many online resources which can be retained for training and subsequent certification. “Dr. Ally is fabulous! I have been bringing my 2 Frenchies here for many years for vaccines, bee stings, ear infections, leg injuries, and skin issues. I appreciate that Dr Ally gives me several treatment options, when applicable, because sometimes starting conservative does the trick without having to order expensive blood work, X-rays, etc. Being open 7 days a week is a blessing for those that work full time.“

“Leilani- thank you so much for the wonderful trail ride on June 16, 2024 that my boyfriend requested for his birthday! It was super fun, beautiful and very interesting. Your customer focus, riding experience, and horse knowledge really showed -as you carefully sized and fitted each of us with safety helmets, introduced us to horses you'd selected matching our skill level, helped us mount up and basic " left, right, walk and stop" commands. The trail ride was incredible - so much to see riding through the stable and seeing some of the 400 horses living on the 25 acre equestrian site, then riding through the extensive urban forest with so many beautiful flowers and trees, and then down down by the lake.
