“When I first reached out to Good Dog OC, I’ll admit I was very skeptical — mostly because of the cost. Training my dog, Snowy, to become a service animal to do tasks for myself and my son who has been medically diagnosed, was a significant investment, and I wasn’t sure it would pay off.

“Sylvia is a Godsend, and I mean that literally! While it's too long and too personal a story to share details here, I've spent the last several years in a family caregiving situation in which I was unable to have a social life or enjoy my hobbies due to balancing full-time work and caregiving. Recently, I've been trying to reclaim some time for myself, but now I have two senior dogs with medical conditions to look after, and this alone makes it challenging to go out. Sylvia has made it possible for me to do so, thereby basically saving my mental health, haha. Every pet parent wants someone truly reliable whom they can trust, and Sylvia is absolutely that kind of person. She is not just genuinely knowledgeable and experienced, she is also just a kind, wonderful person who is easy to work with. I can't express how reassuring it feels to be out doing something you enjoy, but then also partly worried about your furry friends, and then to get a text update from Sylvia with photos (like the ones attached here) showing your beloved pets fed, medicated, and resting peacefully. I can't recommend Sylvia's services enough, but I also don't want you to book her too often because that's exactly what *I* want to do! LOL ?“

“My cat and my visit to Laguna Hills Animal Hospital was such a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The vet tech and Dr Jon were so kind and offered me sound advice that made me feel comfortable and like I could trust them with the health of my baby(cat). I can tell that the vet really has a passion for what he does and the expertise to back it up. He handled our visit with grace, answered all of my questions, and even let me know about vaccines that Latte wasn’t up-to-date on, so we could take care of that too. I never once felt like I was being pressured into care that I wasn’t seeking for my cat. The visit was reasonably priced as well. This will definitely be our new vet from now on.“

“Amazing !! I utilize this vet bc I foster for different rescues and what sets this vet apart (besides the amazing vets), is their front office staff!!! I have had to stop going to at least 2 or 3 vets in the past, due to the front office staff being completely rude and abrupt. The ladies here (cuz I haven't seen men upfront) are top notch. They present with such knowledge, patience and loving kindness, it really makes the visit go much smoother!
Then the back office techs and nurses are very skilled and caring.
I really understand why this vet office is busy!!“

“My cat needed an annual check up to renew prescription. Didn’t have a long wait. The staff was friendly. The checkup was $88 - I declined the blood tests. The bill would have been $500.“

“I cannot recommend Northwood Animal Hospital enough, especially for those with small pets. My bunny Artemis has been seen by both Dr. J and Dr. Roberts, and they are both incredible, knowledgeable, and compassionate vets. I also have nothing but glowing praise for all the vet techs and front desk staff there. Kate and Minerva especially are so sweet and responsive. Everyone here has so much patience and grace.

Unfortunately, my sweet girl passed away during an amputation surgery, but she was older and her paw had become infected. I know that the staff did everything they could…sadly it was just her time. I am so, so grateful to the care that was given to her in the time we spent going to Northwood.“

With our previous dog, we tried a different training company (using a prong collar) and it just never sat well with me - I could tell our dog didn't like the collar, which made us not want to use it, and all the training was wasted.

We started with puppy kindergarten when Pickles was a few months old and right away, Cassie and her team were amazing. They accommodated different energy levels and the unique needs of each dog, making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

We've now completed several classes and some private training and I can wholeheartedly recommend Clickstart for any dog! Or really, any owner, because we're the ones being trained ;) Pickles is obsessed with all of the trainers and it makes training so much more enjoyable when he is having fun, too!“
