“Quick, communicative, and fairly priced. I only have good things to say about the experience. I have a 270 sq foot enclosed tiled balcony that was leaking water during the recent rains.

During the in person estimate, Robert was able to answer all my questions thoroughly was able to pinpoint the reasons that my old deck had failed. He gave me a detailed plan on his approach to the fix.

They completed the work quickly and the site was kept clean. Communication throughout the process was great. We decided to go with their lifedeck coating process as well as a bonderized steel railing around the walls. The work began within the week and they even rushed in order to finish before the rain. I appreciate that Robert and his team went above and beyond to do so. Happy with the result and would gladly recommend their work“

Nottingham Brown 48 in. x 72 in. Rubber Backed Carpet Mat I purchased from Home Depot is perfect for my mountain home. The house does not have a covered entryway (yet) so leaves and dirt are constantly tracked in. My dog also likes to play the “in and out” game all day, even when it is rainy. The large size of this rug provides plenty of room to get her feet dried off before she gets onto the floors. Although this rug is intended for commercial use, it is attractive enough to use inside my casual/rustic home.“

“We did a full garage makeover and love the end results. The process was great, Drew was very nice, honest and timely. He was clear with what his product was and how it would be installed. Renders with drawings really help us shape our garage. We had a rough floor before the start of the project and now it looks so good. We went with a black and white chips for the epoxy flooring with all black cabinets. Looks very clean. I highly recommend this company.“

“We have a 20 year old entry way to kitchen Brazilian Cherrywood floor that was looking awful. We thought we needed to replace but I found Specialized Surfaces and contacted them for an appt and Tom the owner was amazing and the crew he sent was incredible. I knew when I saw 3 men hand sanding our floor it would look great in the end which is what happened. Tom suggested to put a satin sheen on the floor instead of the original gloss coat. I didn't know how it would look but it turned out amazing and as Tom said, it will be so much easier to take care of and hides everything. Will absolutely recommend Tom and his company to friends who need something done to their flooring.“

“From beginning to finish, we had a great experience with FDC. We were referred to FDC by our General Contractor. We were introduced to Edmon by appointment and took great care of us through the patient process of picking out samples and tips on moving them to different rooms throughout the home to get the proper and different lighting. We took our time determining which Engineered Hardwood flooring would work for us and Edmon was always available to answer questions. We made our choice and installation was scheduled within two weeks. We got a call before the installation that they wanted to demo a couple of days early. The installers were very professional in that we had a lot of furniture and lose items still around the house and we were able to move items freely from one portion of the house to the other and our garage was also filled. Edmon showed up at our place because we were not sure of which direction to have the run of the planks to go. We came up with the solution which made us both happy. A last minute issue came up with the transitions to the bathroom tile which Edmon came up with a transition strip that matched out wood floor perfectly and looks great. The installers also installed new baseboards of our choosing and add extra character to the room.Once installation was fully completed. We had a final visit from Edmon to our home which he inspected and answered our questions about cleaning and maintenance. We are so glad we went with FDC, especially in this post-pandemic times, in that the price and service were excellent.“
