“I had the privilege of training at Napa BJJ with Professor Jesse and his students some time ago. As a visiting Jiu Jitsu black belt, the environment was welcoming and felt like is was my own academy back in Michigan. The instruction was top notch and the rolls were tough proving solid technique. I would recommend prospective students and traveling Jiu Jitsu practitioners to check out this academy. I look forward to visiting again shortly.“

“My kiddos are always excited to go to their classes with Mr Matias. Classes start timely, with enthusiasm, and encouragement to focus and be respectful toward others. Mr Matias personally leads all the martial arts classes which I like. He is patient and fun, and really engages his students. Knows each one by name from day 1. Beatrice at the front desk is always warm, friendly and helpful! I am happy my kids are learning valuable skills in boundary setting and self protection. Certainly recommend MMA ☺️“

“Cool place to take your family to learn boxing. Coach is very attuned to each student and how they are practicing the techniques he teaches. He's personable, friendly, and maintains a high level of care with his students, instructing them what happens if the technique is performed incorrectly. He has 2 separate classes. First for children, second for adults. Beginners are in with the rest of the class. I'm very impressed with how he works with all ages. I highly recommend this class.“
