“I came in for repeated lower back strains (5x last year) despite working out with a trainer, going to a chiropractor 2x per month, and getting monthly body work done and Monterey Pelvic Health fixed my lower back pain, addressed my rib flare, fixed my deadlift and squat form, found out my glutes weren't activating so they gave me some workouts to get those firing, taught me I was bracing my core wrong and corrected that, and overall completely changed my life.<br><br>They did so much more than I could have asked for and I'll sing their praises until everyone goes and sees them!<br><br>I worked with Dr. Byanca and Dr. Kyle to address my repeated lower back strains. During my treatment, they made me feel so comfortable the entire time. Never pushed me to do anything I was uncomfortable doing and asked me how I hurt my back so they could treat things properly, rather than just assume they knew what to do.<br><br>With a mix of breathing techniques to engage my core and other movements to use as warmups for the gym, I've been living without lower back pain since I started seeing them during the 2nd week of the year. The pain relief was almost instantaneous (you have to actually do your homework and I found great relief within the first week) and have been able to work my deadlift and squat back to what I was lifting pre-injuries.<br><br>I used to think that pelvic floor therapists were just for postpartum moms and people with incontinence but I couldn't have been more wrong!<br><br>I'm eternally grateful for the team at Monterey Pelvic Health for how they've changed my life.<br><br>If you have a pelvic floor (*cough*cough* that's everyone), then you should go see them. Never did I think they would address all of the additional issues I had PLUS they did it all while working within my normal life / lifting schedule. I was scared of being told to stop deadlifting or lifting heavy, but that's not the way they operate.<br><br>They truly listen and design a treatment based on your lifestyle.<br><br>If you have any sort of lower back pain or rib flare, call them NOW. The only regret you'll have is waiting longer to do it.<br><br>Go see them N O W!!”
