When my mother-in-law moved in with us, we needed to remodel our bathroom, transforming it from a traditional tub-and-shower setup into a modern standing shower. The project included several thoughtful design features such as a step for seating, strategically placed handles for easier entry, a high-end sliding glass shower door, and a recessed niche in the wall to conveniently hold soap and shampoo. Ali coordinated a team of subcontractors—including plumbers, tile installers, electricians, and painters—who each completed their work on time and to a high standard. Throughout the process, I was kept fully informed, receiving progress updates and photos, which demonstrated Ali’s dedication to transparency and accountability.

What impressed me most, however, was Ali’s response to a concern that arose months after the project was completed. I suspected a possible leak that could cause mold under the shower base and affect our kitchen below. Even though this issue was outside the original scope of work, Ali promptly sent his team to investigate. They inspected the attic, drains, and remodeled areas thoroughly. Later, the team returned with specialized cameras to inspect beneath the remodeled bathroom through the kitchen ceiling in a non-intrusive manner, confirming that everything was dry and in excellent condition. His willingness to go above and beyond, long after the project had been completed, speaks volumes about his integrity and dedication to his clients.

Recently, we remodeled our home. The house was built in 1972 and needed a serious upgrade that included the kitchen, master and guest bathrooms as well as the master and guest bedrooms.

In addition, the driveway and rear patio required replacement.

To accomplish these tasks, we needed to hire a quality contractor who would give us a fair bid. We interviewed approximately 20 contractors until we met IGS.

We selected them because of their honesty, fairness and family business. We discovered that we made the right decision.

They were easy to talk to and always available to answer our questions. Maria took us to different businesses to help us select cabinets and fixtures to facilitate the remodel process.

Furthermore, asbestos needed to be removed from the ceilings and floors. IGS put us in touch with a quality and affordable asbestos abatement company.

IGS accomplished their tasks on time and on budget. The workers showed up on time and demonstrated quality workmanship. They kept the house secure and private.

Invoices came on the contractual dates and there were no payment problems.

The project was well timed. The initial estimate was for around 5 months. It ended up taking 5 months and 3 weeks. The small delay was due to city permitting back-and-forth and weather, which all seemed understandable.

The cost estimate was also quite accurate. We only went <10% over, and generally due to things that we decided to upgrade partway through, or issues we discovered only after tearing open the walls.

They also had a one year warranty on issues with the work, which they have honored with no hassle.

“Be prepared, this will be a lengthy review... Please read my previous posts and you will see that I normally do not post long reviews. Let me first start by sharing that prior to Stud Construction, I had an existing/trusting relationship with a previous general contractor that I was happy with. The only reason why we considered a 2nd option was because my wife & I were taking on a ginormous project. The intention was simply a sanity check to make sure our existing GC was quoting a fair price. Andrei spent so much time not only answering our questions but informing us of little details that we had not considered. His pricing was fair but it was his willingness to share information that made us feel most comfortable. If he was unavailable to pickup, he immediately returned our call. Truthfully, we thought that this was because he wanted the contract. Well, in the end we went with him... He got the contract and we've worked with him & his crew for over a year now and we're finally wrapping up. I would definitely recommend Stud Construction! This journey should have been difficult, filled with anxiety & stress... Fortunately, our project has not come with any major issues. Maybe we got lucky? I believe what helped the most was the fact that Stud Construction was always accessible. Over these many months, we really got to know Andrei & Radu (his right-hand man) These two make the PERFECT team, I love that they both know what's going on with the project at ALL times. During these months, I can't recall a time where we one needed to "look into something and get back to us". There was never a time where we need to remind them of a previous discussion, THEY'RE ON TOP OF IT! (You know how some companies get so large that it becomes a bunch of red tape... Not these guys!) True ROCKSTARS! Let me take a moment to also mention Sunshyne, she's the one that works behind the curtains. Places all the orders, follows up on the deliveries, expedites shipments, requests RMA's, etc. Keep up the GREAT up work Sunshyne : ) OK, now for their subs... Just as an FYI, this project took over a year is because this is a 7200sqft home and we also remodeled the front & backyard too. This was a huge project!
