“With the torrent of recent rains, we had more than one tree split and fall--mostly because of they were in water-logged soil and the heavy winds proved too much for a number of our 40+ year old trees/bushes,. The quickly scheduled appointment was on a Saturday with a crew of 5 for most of the day. No more worries about branches falling on the roof after they completed the job.The desired outcome was enhancing structural integrity: Delfino Vian identified the weak trees and patiently explained the underlying problems. He had worked on our glorious 55 ft tall tree specimen a few years ago and I knew I could trust him.The team was efficient, ever most careful with the other plants, they were all polite, and, at my request, they finely chipped the branches and trees for mulch. There was no contagious pathogen, so they were OK to recycle.We are delighted with the results and the costs were very reasonable. “One of the big branches from our cypress tree was snapped and dangling 2 weeks before our daughter's birthday. We contacted several tree services company. We went with JJI because I felt more comfortable with Joaquin when he came to our house for an estimate. On the day of the service, they did an excellent job, protected my deck, window, roof, etc with plywood and clean up after. Joaquin showed me what the finished project, gave me some recommendation and make sure I was satisfied before he left. I highly recommend Joaquin and his crew.“

He gently ropes down each limb and breaks them up before pulling them out to the chipper. Much appreciated for our beautiful home.“

“Juan and his team did a fantastic job on my backyard renovation. I can't say enough good things about Juan and would highly recommend him for any landscaping work. Mine was a major backyard renovation. We live in the hills of Belmont, which means to even access our backyard, you had to climb up a steep hill from our side yard. Half of our backyard was made up of a large hill, leaving us with little usable space. We wanted to remove the hill in our backyard, put up a new retaining wall (the old retaining wall has been there since the 60s and contains toxic materials), and install artificial turf. We've gotten a handful of quotes before being referred to Juan. Some folks quoted us double the price Juan gave, some had no experience doing such major renovations, and others just flat-out refused to do such hard work. Juan was knowledgeable and responsive, did not illegally require half of the payment up-front just to get on his schedule, and we felt more comfortable given that he was referred to us by our gardener (we've heard plenty of horror stories where contractors took the money and left the project unfinished, so reliability is #1 for us). We were able to get on Juan's schedule the next week. Juan and his team worked really hard, Monday through Saturday. This was really some of the toughest work imaginable: They have to use jack hammers and various hand-held tools to remove a hill made out of stone, then chisel the remaining hill to make it straight and leveled for the new retaining wall. Because all the houses here are built so closely together, backhoes and dump trucks could not access our yard. Juan's team had to use wheelbarrows to haul out all the concrete and rocks out by going down our steep side yard hill. Likewise, all the heavy wooden posts, retaining wall planks, bags of cement, all had to be manually carried up our side yard hill. Juan did the job perfectly and finished in one month. He didn't cut any corners in order and continued working diligently until the job was fully finished. He really went above and beyond by removing as much of the hill as possible to give us the biggest backyard space we could get. Our yard is beautiful! I look forward to working with him again on our next project.“
