Noah and his crew were amazing - not only did they implement the system expertly, they also managed city inspections. As the project progressed, they were able to resolve unexpected issues on site and also made useful suggestions to improve on the original design.
For the landscaping, Machtinger installed paver paths, new irrigation system, new lighting, and sourced and installed plant material (including trees and large shrubs). Everything was installed with precision and care. The result is beautiful and we are getting compliments from neighbors non-stop.

With the torrent of recent rains, we had more than one tree split and fall--mostly because of they were in water-logged soil and the heavy winds proved too much for a number of our 40+ year old trees/bushes,. The quickly scheduled appointment was on a Saturday with a crew of 5 for most of the day. No more worries about branches falling on the roof after they completed the job.The desired outcome was enhancing structural integrity: Delfino Vian identified the weak trees and patiently explained the underlying problems. He had worked on our glorious 55 ft tall tree specimen a few years ago and I knew I could trust him.The team was efficient, ever most careful with the other plants, they were all polite, and, at my request, they finely chipped the branches and trees for mulch. There was no contagious pathogen, so they were OK to recycle.We are delighted with the results and the costs were very reasonable. Jorge arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of two properties. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and very honest with his recommendations. i want to give a big thanks to the concrete contractor team for their excellent work and service. my old house in menlo park needed foundation stabilization and some lifting, and they handled it perfectly. i was able to watch each part of the job, and i liked how the crew explained what they were doing and why. the office staff also kept in touch and made sure everything went smoothly. special thanks to douglas and his crew for taking care of the heavy concrete work, and to another team for installing the support jacks. i also appreciate the company’s attention to quality. the production supervisor came by at the end to finish up the last details, including cleaning up and pressure washing. overall, i’m very happy with their work!

Best hair salon- Fifi is such a sweetheart and an absolute magician with hair! I got a long overdue curtain bangs cut with layers and she absolutely delivered. My hair was some of the bounciest and shiniest right after, she gave me tips on blow drying and product recs. And not only that, but the cut has grown out so naturally! Really looking forward to my next cut with Fifi, and hopefully planning on some color too!

My six year old got his first barbershop cut by Mr. Norman and he loved it. He felt grown with all the other men getting their hair and beard trims. Norm was so patient with him and took his time. It was $25 for his cut, which is significantly less than the other local salons are charging for kids. Plus they have all the same fun item: books, toys and huge screen tvs. There's also an ice cream shop next door which is just a bonus!
I get a haircut every few weeks with Dave and it is a great cut and experience. He is very attentive and personable. There are not a lot of local barbers since Golden Shears closed down but this is the old school barber experience, if this is what you are looking for.

Have lived in the area for a while and was looking for a new nail salon - found Sky Nails based on their reviews and have had a wonderful experience! The first gel manicure I got for a vacation lasted a full 3 weeks, and when I got the gel removed there they were careful not to file down my natural nails, leaving my nails looking healthy and smooth. Prices are competitive for the area and the shop is cozy, the people working there are kind and efficient - I would absolutely recommend it.

I had Alex and his team come out and repipe my home from galvanized to copper. They did an amazing job. Although the job took several days, I always had the water turned on at the end of each day. They were very courtesy and cleaned up the work area every day so my family could use our home every evening. They did an awesome job repatching and painting the walls after the project. You can barely tell that my walls and ceiling were cut open. Best of all, I have clean water, better water pressure, and hot water coming through all my fixtures now.

We had a biohazard situation with a broken sewage pipe, so time was of the essence. I called a few other companies who couldn't work us in or didn't return calls. Ryan, the owner of Aqua Plumbing, was communicative and came out to inspect and eventually do the work himself. He had to saw through large tree roots to cut the pipe and replace it. He also fixed a toilet. He may not have been the cheapest, but he respected our natural surroundings, understood the urgency, and completed the job quickly. I would use him again and hope he stays in the area.
I just used Brilliant electric to add a 240v 60amp circiut for my level 2 Tesla Charging station. They were very knowledgable ontime and got the job done very quickly. I highly recomend their services.

Paritza cleaning was recommended to me by my realtor. We remodeled our house in Belmont by adding a second floor and completely reconfiguring our first floor. We received bids from several builders but decided to go with Tony. We were living in Menlo Park at the time, and it turns out he lived on our street! Tony presented us with a reasonable bid for the work, and in the end, we are very glad we went with him. Tony has gathered a team of subcontractors over 30 years in the business that he trusts and that do excellent work. He is a great communicator, and he always kept us informed what was being done, what was next, and what additional things he recommended should be/needed to be done. The remodel took longer than we wanted but this was due to our choice not to hire an interior designer but to do all the work in choosing the kitchen designer, tiles, pulls, designing our bathrooms etc. ourselves. But that aside, Tony’s crew did a fantastic job with the new addition even navigating through issues with the design that looked fine on paper but didn’t quite work out as planned. For example, when a door (that would lead down to the garage) would not fit under the new stairs to the second floor, he just moved the garage stairs and made it part of the house (see pics) which turned out very nice, making our great room look even more open! Another positive for Tony is that he gives an honest opinion, especially given we were choosing our own accents. This saved us from a few mistakes we would have regretted, like our kitchen backsplash. In a way, it felt like we were designing our interior (and exterior) together, so Tony was sort of an interior designer (free of charge). Overall, it was a pleasure working with Tony and his crew. Their attention to detail and being sensitive to our needs was top notch. We highly recommend Nolasco Construction.

We engaged them on a full basement remodel covering over 2,000 sq ft, including a bathroom, multiple bedrooms, converting an old workshop room to a wine room, and opening up a family room and children's play room. We're thrilled with the results. The team (James, Holly, Stacey, Matt, Stefan, and others) were all great to work with. The design support was excellent. James, the project leader, partnered with us through the entire project and drove it to conclusion. We also appreciated his frequent updates and constant availability for questions or follow-ups. I just moved from the South Bay and Peninsula was recommended. I needed to get in quickly for rabies and vaccinations for my pup. All went well, when I got there I was greeted by staff. Slightly overdue, but I had a wonderful experience at my appointment with Karen. I arrived on the dot and was able to easily find my way to her apartment complex where she practices. I opted for 1.5hr massage and from beginning to end was a very relaxing experience. I suffer from issues in my upper torso, neck, and lower back specifically and I felt at ease as Karen began to work out the sections of my body that had problems. The pressure of her massage wasn't overbearing, but more so methodical and thoughtful. I've had some massages in the past where I felt genuinely awful, but with Karen I only felt slightly sore. I'm a smaller wire build and Karen really put me at ease as she targeted the points of my back and didn't overdo it like so many people tend to do.
I had the most incredible massage with Amy tonight. truly one of the best I’ve ever had. She created such a calming, grounded atmosphere and checked in just the right amount to make sure I was comfortable throughout. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. Amy is a gem!

For example, I have major knee pain and she figured out its root is in the lower back and along the leg. By putting needles along there, my knee pain went away.She is a devout Christian and always put people first before any monetary matters. I feel so lucky to have found such an angel in my life.
