Patients have reported friendly and helpful receptionist, short wait times, and clean waiting rooms. Some healthcare providers have been praised for their kindness, patience, and attention to detail, making patients feel comfortable and heard. Additionally, some dental care services have been reported as subpar, with dentists not doing thorough cleanings and skipping over sections.
I visited this clinic for the first time a couple weeks ago and my experience was stellar. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and gentle. Her instructions and questions were clear and concise. The wait time was short and the waiting room was clean and tame. My name was called by a nurse, who was too kind and patient. She made friendly conversation and made an effort to relate to me and make me feel comfortable. Lastly, my acupuncturist. She was super professional and paid close attention to detail. Her priority was to make me feel heard and understood, and to ensure she was addressing everything I needed. Thank you Norah McIntire! I left the office so relaxed...read full review
Precilda at La Brea location is the kindest, most caring for patients! I’m diabetic and get dehydrated often and use up my water. So, when I asked her some water, she gave me extra water. Then, my next appointment, she offered me some water Voluntarily! Thank you so much! :)
I was new to LA, figuring out insurance, and had to come here for a while before sorting things out. For me, the biggest issues were the lack of comprehensive patient care. The providers weren't listening to solve the underlying health issue but were masking the symptoms with medication. Additionally, I came in for dental care, and it was clear the dentist was shirking his responsibilities. I don't recall his name, but he was a bit past middle-aged, South Asian, and quite talkative. I hadn't had a cleaning since before COVID (I didn't mention it to him). He took one look in my mouth and said I didn't need a cleaning; it was too soon since my last one, but he would do it since I was in the chair. He then gave me the laziest cleaning I've ever had in my life, skipping over sections and not doing a thorough job. Afterward, I got home and could see plaque on my front teeth along the gum line. I ended up scraping the plaque off myself at home.
