“I was traveling and wanted to redo my septum that had closed after I removed it for work. Steve took my call and listened and I walked right in. He's been in the business for decades.

The jewelry is all titanium standard for first piercing which is what you have to get in most unique piercing spots anyway. It allows him to keep the prices lower than anyone in the area. He listened to the angle I wanted and trusted my endurance to pierce me with the gauge I asked for. I got exactly what I wanted.

“Best tattoo experience I have had! My tattoo artist was John Hudic (check out his Insta! He has some serious talent!). John has been the only tattoo artist I have had who really took his time to understand what exactly I wanted (first through email and then through a sit down session). He really listened and even took the time to see some more inspiration pictures I had.
When I returned and he showed me his design, he even went away for a little to give me space and time to really look at the design to make sure I felt comfortable and liked it.
Overall, I think my tattoo took about three full-day sessions. John made the sessions super chill. I felt like I could joke around with him and just talk, but he was also chill when I wanted to just watch my shows on my phone or go to sleep for a little while.
The studio itself is super cool as well and I can tell all of the artists are super talented. They even have a room for the artists to just work on their creative project like paintings or sculptures. They are AMAZING!
I’m a girl and got my leg tattooed (from my hip all the way to my ankle) and although I think it may have been easy to feel some kind of way in some tattoo studios, here it felt super safe, chill, and fun. With John you are truly hiring an artist and a professional. Could not recommend him more! “Bixby Knolls Tattoo has continued to be a stellar experience to get inked at. My wife and I have gone 3 times in the past 6 months to get small pieces done and each time is better than the last. Our favorite artist has been Xavier; a super relaxed and detail oriented artist. It doesn’t matter if it’s a full arm piece or a Friday the Thirteenth flash—each piece he works on is met with the same care, attention, and patience. He’s extremely easy to talk to and will always go over best practices for the pieces you bring to him. I’ve been tattooed all over the world: India, France, Guatemala to name a few; and I never believed that in all my travels that I’d find a resident artist in my home town like Xavier. Cannot recommend him enough and I can’t recommend the studio as whole enough as well. Extremely clean, organized, and impeccable vibes. If you’re looking for a place to get some work done, Bixby Knolls Tattoo is definitely the place! And his amazing partner Pauline also does piercings, so you’ve really got a one stop shop here! They both truly love what they do and it shows in the quality of their work.“
