I was so glad I was able to make it to Long Beach to finally check out his beautiful shop. “Bixby Knolls Tattoo has continued to be a stellar experience to get inked at. My wife and I have gone 3 times in the past 6 months to get small pieces done and each time is better than the last. Our favorite artist has been Xavier; a super relaxed and detail oriented artist. It doesn’t matter if it’s a full arm piece or a Friday the Thirteenth flash—each piece he works on is met with the same care, attention, and patience. He’s extremely easy to talk to and will always go over best practices for the pieces you bring to him. I’ve been tattooed all over the world: India, France, Guatemala to name a few; and I never believed that in all my travels that I’d find a resident artist in my home town like Xavier. Cannot recommend him enough and I can’t recommend the studio as whole enough as well. Extremely clean, organized, and impeccable vibes. If you’re looking for a place to get some work done, Bixby Knolls Tattoo is definitely the place! And his amazing partner Pauline also does piercings, so you’ve really got a one stop shop here! They both truly love what they do and it shows in the quality of their work.“
