“Thank goodness I found Irvine Acupuncture and Dr. Reza Tafazoli, "Rey"!!I was stuck in a pain spiral...my lower back and SI joint was so bad, I could not plan on doing much of anything. I couldn't even lay on my stomach to have treatment. It was very stressful, but Rey was so calming and intuitive...on my first visit he helped me to relax and breathe so I could benefit from the acupuncture. Rey even found a way to treat my lower back while sitting up. He is great at using different techniques to provide a combination of treatments at once, which I think made all the difference in my outcome.I highly recommend Irvine Acupuncture and suggest that patients explore all of the options they have to offer there! “My husband and I want to thank Dr. Lee from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the best gift possible--the gift of life. Prior to seeking treatment, my husband and I had been trying to conceive for three years before undergoing fertility tests and learning that my husband had low motility/poor sperm morphology and that I have endometriosis with one tube blocked and a very low egg count. Our fertility specialist at the time recommended undergoing a laparoscopy to remove the endometrial tissue and then attempt to conceive through IUI. We planned to move forward with this plan, but after researching further, discovered that an astounding number of couples with our exact fertility issues underwent laparoscopies, multiple rounds of IUI and IVF and still couldn't conceive. Walking into his office during that initial appointment and seeing all those pictures on the walls of expecting parents and couples holding their newborn babies was exactly what we needed. For the first time, we felt genuine hope. Hope that this was the path we needed to take. That it would eventually lead to our conceiving a child. Haste makes waste, as I read on Dr. Lee's website. So true. Patience is everything. Especially, when it comes to conceiving a healthy baby. There are no words that can adequately express just how grateful we are that we listened to our gut and received treatment from him in 2018. “Last year, I pretty abruptly developed sciatica with very severe pain down my leg that left me almost bedbound for about 4 months. I saw several physicians and was on several types of pain medication, some of which had bothersome side effects like drowsiness and memory loss. I tried topical gels and poultices, cold and heat, soaks, self-massage, TENS units, and underwent 2 steroid epidural injections, none of which seemed to make a difference. I finally found Dr. Fu online and decided to try. I went through 2 months of acupuncture that eventually helped the pain to subside and I was finally able to walk again. One thing to note is acupuncture doesn't work quickly - it's not a fast cure. Friends and family in the medical field were surprised at how effective Dr. Fu's acupuncture was when nothing else had made a dent. After another flare of the sciatica, I again returned for more intensive treatment which again helped my symptoms. I now continue to go for maintenance therapy about once a week.Dr. Fu is thorough and clearly used his expertise to tailor his treatment to my specific situation. When I had particularly bad pain, he was able to use many needles and even had me mark spots of pain before my visits to be able to efficiently and effectively target the area. He is caring and passionate about his work and enthusiastic about explaining his methods and educating patients about acupuncture. Dr. Fu and his staff are always friendly and helpful and have been able to be flexible with scheduling changes when needed.“

“I am so grateful to Dr. Ping for how she helped me recover from depression. Many years ago, I was depressed for about 5-6 years, and I tried many different things to feel better, like the conventional antidepressants, as well as some other not-so-healthy coping mechanisms that were just making things worse. Dr. Ping also taught me so many things I can do for self-healing that I still remember, such as massaging my ears to stimulate my entire body (reflexology), chi-gong meditation to calm myself, and nutritional advice to aid digestion. She is a wealth of knowledge, and is obviously passionate about helping her patients. This review is long overdue, but better late than never. Dr. Ping has come back in life because I was looking for a natural solution for my mom's eye conditions, and I am confident that Dr. Ping can help her. “After developing some rather uncomfortable tingling pain/discomfort in my L lower back, proceeding down through my L calf and ankle, I turned to something outside my comfort zone, Acupuncture. The pain/discomfort had become so troublesome, I could no longer fully stretch in preparing for a run. Having never received treatment from an Acupuncturist before, I really didn't know what to expect, other than anecdotal hearsay to rely on. Upon recommendation from my wife, I decided to give it a try. Dr. Song was welcoming and seemed to put me at ease. I proceeded to complete the prerequisite paperwork prior to treatment as a new patient. The office is located on the 3rd floor of a beautifully landscaped professional complex, easily accessible with ample parking and elevators within. Once brought into the service room, all aspects of the treatment(s) were explained and professionally administered. The time duration for the appt. was right around 45 mins to 1 hour. The treatments started off with Acupuncture, followed by Cupping and finishing up w/brief massage. After seeing Dr. Song for +/- 4 appointments, my range of motion had regained to normal levels and my discomfort/pain had subsided considerably. I'll be the first to admit, having never experienced any Acupuncture treatment before, I was a bit of a skeptic. That is no longer the case, and I am walking, stretching and running proof that Dr. Song's treatment(s) were impactful. Highly recommend if you're experiencing discomfort to the point of impeding your preferred physical activities and daily routines. As a lifelong sports enthusiast, my running and hockey playing days are here again. Thank you for all the help!“

“After 4 months of phone conferencing with my regular family doctor and several PT sessions for my Sciatica from an old injury and osteoarthritis, the pain did not improve, my range of motion and movement continued to be limited and sometimes worse. The pain keep me up at night and I had problem stepping on the gas paddle when driving or up and down steps due to the sharp pain traveling from my lower back to the bottom of my foot. My western fmaily doctor recommended more shots in my hip and joints. I normally travel back to my home country to see my Chinses doctor, but due to Covid, I had not been back for two years. I was referred to Dr. Chen by another functional energy doctor who has PT background. Dr. Chen stated to me that it might take up to 3 visits to see result. It only took one visit, one needle from Dr. Chen, to relief my 6 months of sciatic pain. The pain subsided dramatically within 48 hours, and I was back to yoga, hiking and spinning in one week. The best news, I have not been back to see him since my first visit in February which is two month ago, that is what Chinese medicine meant to be, to solve the root problem and find cure, not just surpressed the pain with more pain medication and injections. Her treatment is very efficient with her massage technique prior to acupuncture treatment, and I had such a significant result!
