Almost two weeks ago, I put on a very heavy backpack and felt some strange pains around my hip, into the groin, down to my knee, and on the inside of my ankle. I was traveling and tried to make the best of it, but it got worse by the day. I was vacationing at Newport Coast but couldn't sleep, sit, or walk without pain. I knew that I needed to get treatment. She arranged to see me two more times and I went home to San Diego on Sunday feeling so much better. She also prescribed and demonstrated a series of exercises to do at home. I plan to continue seeing her as needed. Even though it is a 90-minute drive, it is worth it. She is so skilled at what she does and cares so much about each patient. I have been seeing Dr. Lee at Dr. Lee's Newport Acupuncture for several months now, and I experienced almost instantaneous relief from my very first visit. Over the years, I have consulted with countless physicians, specialists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists since my 20s due to chronic pain and significant spinal complications. I have undergone cervical spinal fusion surgery from C5-C7 with titanium instrumentation, as well as a first left rib resection surgery three years ago. In addition, I still require lumbar surgery, which I have elected to decline at this time.
