“Jen did my hair and makeup for my 2023 wedding and I could not recommend her enough! I am the type of person who immediately redoes their hair as soon as they get home from the salon and I have never in my life liked my makeup when it's been done professionally and I was seriously obsessed with Jen's work! I have red hair and extremely pale skin and have found that when I get my hair and makeup done, all too often makeup and hair artists just try to do what they normally do on people with other hair and skin tones and it just doesn't work on me, but Jen is such an amazing listener and is so good at interpreting your vision and giving you exactly what you were picturing! I hate looking at pictures of brides that look nothing like themselves, or just completely overdone on their wedding, and Jen does such a good job of making you look exactly like yourself, just little better! “Had an amazing lash lift here! In my only previous lash shift, I was left with very minimal lift and a lot of glue in my lashes. When I mentioned this to Shea--who is wonderful at her job and fun to talk to--she immediately opted for a different protocol, that helps curl more stubborn lashes. I was shocked by the results. “I was referred to Angela from a friend and I am SO thankful !! My hair is semi- long & brown. My old hair stylist RUINED it with bleach & bad extensions. I mean DESTROYED. “I had booked my appointment through yelp which had me answering questions about my skin and what my needs were. Which was quite nice. About 1/2 hr later I received a call from James, we spoke easily about what I was looking for and what options would be best for me. James was friendly, professional, and educated about my skin care needs. A week later and I met James at his studio where he was friendly and explained my hydrating facial and what was expected throughout the session. I knew I was in great hands. I was comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyed my experience. My face was hydrated and healthy looking. My body was relaxed through the massage I received. It was the perfect pampering I have enjoyed in a really long time. Furthermore, I would highly recommend James and his services. “Erica is a pro! I finally tried lash extensions and she took me from basic to diva in one session. In the past I have been apprehensive to get something like my eyelashes done but I am now obsessed with this look. I will get this done over and over again. It makes my life so easy! I don't really like or know how to do my makeup well and this is the best assist to jumpstart my look, it helps me take a few steps out of the equation. Throughout my treatment she answered all of my ridiculous questions(lol) which I appreciated because I am a worrier and I have to know everything. “Last weekend was my first brow appointment with Flor and it was such an amazing experience! I was so intimidated by the idea of going to someone who specializes in waxing since I have spent so many years going to nail salons for the service since it's cheap and something easy you can walk-in and do. I was worried that whoever I went to next would judge me (and my brows), but that was not that case at all!When I arrived to the Benefit section of Macy's I was greeted by the sweetest sales person at the counter who let me know Flor would be right back. (I was a few minutes early because I was nervous!) Flor arrived within seconds and was so kind and welcoming. I knew right away that I made the right decision to book an appointment with her! She introduced herself and asked me a little bit about my previous experience with Benefit, previous experience with waxing/threading, and then asked about my skin. I think it's incredibly thorough of her to start an appointment with an understanding of her client's skin. That's something that I had never experience before!Then, Flor started mapping out where the start, end, and peak of the brow should be based on my face structure and nose. This part was so much fun for me because it was a learning experience for me as well as a way for her to let me know what my brows can look like if I continue visiting Benefit's Brow Bar. We discussed the goals I have for my brows (symmetry, symmetry, symmetry!!) and she let me know her exact plan of action before even mixing the wax. 5 STARS RIGHT HERE ALONE!Flor proceeded to start the waxing process and it went over very well. She managed to do the waxing, AND walk me through any changes in posture or head movement to help get the right angles, AND ALSO ask me questions about who I am and what I do. It was incredible! It made me feel welcomed in the space, made me feel confident about what my brows would look like, and helped build that sense of community that is often lacking at other brow establishments. I am incredibly happy with how my brows came out. We have a plan on how to get them where I want them to be over time, but I understand that it's a process since I am hoping to get a bit of hair growth back. And we were able to get my next appointment on the books at a time that works for me. Overall, an incredible experience! I recommended Flor and the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's for anyone looking to FIX THEIR BROW GAME! I'm so excited to see her next month!“
