“I requested a quote from Cesar of BD&E Roofing for a leak on the flat part of my roof. He came out the same day I contacted him. He is very considerate and kind. He met with my husband and told him how to patch the area. He also gave him some material to use and told him where to get more. You can really tell a lot about a guy by the size of his tape measure.I met with Steve and he got right to work measuring and explaining the procedure for our style of roofing. Technology has changed since the last roof was put on some 50 years ago.Steve was the only contractor that included the stairwell and elevator roofs. I later had to ask the other bidders to add that in. He also pointed out what we might expect once the old roof was ripped up.His bid was very detailed. Explaining what any extra costs could be depending on how much rotted wood. His time frame was also the best. Other roofers were saying "next year".He went over all the details of what to expect. What inconveniences the tenants should expect. “I had a small roofing job in San Pedro and wanted someone local to do the work. The motor for the exhaust fan on the roof of our garage burned out with age. I called Mike Collins at Great American and without hesitation he said that they could do that. He came out, took a look, told me right away how they were going to do it and about how much it would cost. Shortly after, he and a couple of his crew came to get started, he lined them out on the job and then went himself to get a replacement fan unit. In a couple of hours it was all done. Fan installed and the base properly tarred onto the roof, waste and old fan collected, and debris swept up from inside the garage. The men were competent and professional, very polite. Totally satisfied customers here. We found GA Roofing on Yelp and highly recommend that you seek them out for your roofing needs in the SP area. Five Stars.“
