“I live in New York State and was the Power-of-Attorney for my cousin in a VA Hospital in California. Golden Hope was recommended to me, among other firms. I chose Golden Hope because of the credentials of it's founder and the types of services I wanted in a caregiver/companion for my cousin, who was like a brother to me. I was able to interview the caregiver/companion online. I was only able to visit every quarter and I wanted her to get my cousin out of the VA unit, take him for lunch or shopping, and do his laundry. “I recently broke my leg and was given a Physical therapist to come to my home. I got Danae Long from Kairos and she was very sweet and patient. She took the time to answer all my questions and helped me tremendously. When I randomly started crying during our first session she comforted me and reassured me that I was okay. She taught me many different stretches and exercises that made life a lot easier and made my leg feel incredible. She gave me confidence to walk up steps and walk around by reassuring me that I would be fine and to take things slow. She did a lovely job at helping me and she will be missed.“
