If you enroll, make sure to attend the Saturday sessions. Nick, who teaches on weekends, does an excellent job tightening up both your road driving and the skills-test portion of the exam.

I evaluated several schools in the area, and what truly separated A-1 from the competition was the students. The environment is highly collaborative, with everyone helping and encouraging one another to succeed.

One final piece of advice: read the material Paul has put together. Everything you need to pass the CDL exam is covered in the curriculum. Pay close attention to the points system for the skills test—there's a strategy to every exam, and understanding how it's scored can make a big difference.
