“I wanted to wait to write this review until after I took my DMV driving test to restore my suspended driver's license. Suspension was due to suffering a stroke. After deciding to drive again, my first step was to pick Apex Driving School to help reach my goal. A driver's evaluation was performed on me and 6 driver's training sessions thereafter. All of those were performed by Apex instructor Derrick Scott. Derrick was very professional and an excellent instructor. Derrick also recommended Wheelchair Tech perform the necessary modifications to my car. I took the DMV test today and passed. Thank you Derrick.“
“I learned the very basics of driving 10 years ago but haven't practiced since. Jay Law helped me prep for the behind the wheel test across a few sessions. He would drive to my apartment in SF and then I would drive to the Daly City DMV and practice in the test area before driving back. The ability to practice on highways was very useful to me even if it wasn't part of the test. On the day of the test we went through the same routine and I was able to use the same car for the actual test. He had really helpful tips/advice and made the experience less stressful beginning to end. I ended up passing the test the first time with a 98/100. The test felt much easier than I expected, which I think is due to the amount of prep. These lessons were definitely worth it!“

“Albert is a phenomenal driving instructor!!! He has the patience of a saint and nerves of steel. Albert has a no-nonsense method of just putting you on the road and having you buck up and go for it! His confidence in his students makes them excel without them realizing his tactics.My story is extreme. I am a 58 year old San Francisco native. I was terrified of driving for decades. I either walked for miles or took public transportation.But in my old age, I decided that "being afraid to drive" was not a story that served me anymore. She literally is so knowledgeable and has the focus of keeping a person from making the same mistake twice. I appreciate the class and the work Annette gives to her students. They have an assortment of classes to hopefully fit most peoples schedules. No judgment zone too, which is important.
