Very few times I walk into a place without any background whatsoever and get blown away by the service and product. I just started working in San Mateo so both of my go-to hair stylists are/were based out of San Francisco. I was in a desperate situation because I needed a haircut before I left for my vacation the next day. Well, I did a quick search and found a place two blocks away. I went to that place only to find out that there was a two-hour wait for a haircut. As I was walking back to my office, I saw this place. I walked in and was able to make an appointment just a couple hours later. I was nervous at this point because I don't usually trust my hair with strangers...read full review
