“This review is for Lyn. I had been going to salons recommended by friends in San Francisco, Santa Clara and some in between for the last couple years. Every time I showed the hair dresser how I wanted my hair style to look on my phone. They glanced at it and cut my hair the way they wanted/knew how. I could usually tell where things went wrong (when they started cutting my hair horizontally), but I was half way thru the cut already and had to console myself that I could look for a new salon next time. My search can stop now (sigh of relief). Yesterday Lyn gave me a cut I was finally happy with! She asked to see the look on my phone half way thru the hair cut, trying to ensure she gave me the result I wanted. And she succeeded. She seems very experienced with my straight coarse hair, saying she would trim it just so to give it movement. And she succeeded again! Thanks again, Lyn!“

She really took her time and did a wonderful job on my haircut! The salon has a nice atmosphere and parking was easy on California Ave. Really good price for the quality of service as well. “I have never been to a SuperCuts or any other haircut place ever since I first went to Primp. Whenever I went to other haircut places, there were lots of issues. The waits were long, the place was loud and uncomfortable, and the stylists were unprofessional. I often left those places with a cut I didn't even like. Primp is the complete opposite of that. There is hardly any waiting (note, you need to schedule an appointment beforehand), the atmosphere is calming and welcoming, and the stylists are amazing at what they do. They clearly have experience and are skilled in treating all kinds of hair types. They'll make sure you leave looking exactly how you want to look, whether you're getting a haircut, a hairdo, makeup, or more.

The location is in a calm spot, its proximity to the train station being the only disturbance. Even then, that just makes this place more accessible by transit. There's usually parking nearby, and the convenience store next door is nice if you want a snack before or after your appointment. Overall, a 5/5 experience every time. Shout-out to Loulou!“
