“I spent so much time searching for the perfect place to vacation in California, coming all the way from Colorado, and I can honestly say that Boon Hotel + Spa was beyond anything I could have imagined! Every single detail about this place is pure perfection.
We stayed in Room 10, and I absolutely fell in love with it! We had a cozy fireplace in our room, a beautiful clawfoot bathtub on our private back patio, and the most adorable little front patio overlooking the gorgeous pool. The entire property is so beautiful, peaceful, quaint, and romantic. It feels like a little hidden paradise tucked away in the redwoods.
The weather was perfect for enjoying everything Boon has to offer. The mornings and evenings were cool, while the afternoons were warm and sunny. I loved the thoughtful little touches, like the beautiful Mexican-style blankets draped over the chairs near the outdoor fireplace and the thick, cozy blankets provided in every room. It's those little details that make this place so special.
And the breakfast! Every morning, breakfast is freshly prepared by the owner's mother, Sue. We had the pleasure of chatting with her, and she is absolutely lovely! There is something so personal and welcoming about a place where even breakfast feels like it was made with love.
One of my favorite things, surprisingly, was that there are no televisions in the rooms. I didn't even realize how much I needed that until I was there. It allowed us to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy being together without all the usual distractions.
Even the smallest conveniences have been thoughtfully considered. There are plenty of snacks waiting in your room if you get hungry, and a refrigerator stocked with drinks near the pool if you get thirsty. Everything feels effortless, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming.
I could go on and on about how much I loved this place. Boon isn't just somewhere to stay. It's an experience. It's romantic, charming, peaceful, and so thoughtfully designed that you can feel the love and care that has gone into every little detail.
I came all the way from Colorado looking for the perfect getaway, and I found something even better. I found my new favorite place! I already can't wait to come back. Thank you, Boon, for making our stay so unforgettable!”
“This massage was the BEST massage I've ever had, no exaggeration! I've had massages in Calistoga and Big Sur, which were excellent, and many in my home town of San Francisco, which are fine. I was so surprised to realized Pamela really knows what she is doing! She seemed to capture each muscle group in my body and work with it in a way that didn't hurt, but I could definitely feel. She knows how to work with and around injuries. I could feel this massage for days after. And her conversation is very uplifting, too. I highly recommend this to anyone in the Guerneville area.”
