My experience with this institute is really bad.
My family doctor refer me to here one year ago, and firstly it took me several month to get it scheduled.
Then the day I was there, the receptionist was rude and laughing about my language.
Later the sleeping study was scheduled and they said they'll figure out the insurance. And after 4 month waiting, just before the scheduled date, they told me the insurance can't do it and change it to taking home sleeping study which took another 3 months.
Now I got a CPAP and the insurance asked me to do the follow up within 90 days. So I tried to get another schedule. They told me the doctor was off until next year, offering...read full review
They have a 6 min late policy which was not mentioned earlier to me. I was late by 2 minutes due to a meeting and they didn’t take me. Zero empathy. The next appointment is 3 months out and this appointment was taken 3 months ago. They should have atleast as a courtesy called me before cancelling my appointment. Overall a very bad experience. Iam sure they understand that the appointments are hard to get. Didn’t expect such a customer service from PAMF.
I guess I feel ignored by my interaction with this office. My cardiologist recommended a sleep study. I was excited because I wanted to figure out why I don't sleep much anymore. For instance, last night I only slept 3.5 hours. I am not tired throughout the day but may get sleepy around bedtime. Maybe this is normal for me. My watch complains about my poor sleep quality. When I arrived the P.A. was extremely excited for me to visit and repeated this many times. She was oh so very very happy and excited for me to visit them and assured me multiple times that they would help me and extend my life. She was oh so very very happy I came to them and expressed how wonderful it was I was there. They would take care of me and help with my sleep issues. I opted for the home sleep study and they found mild sleep apnea. I selected the machine rather than oral insert or surgery. Nothing was found about my lack of sleep. That night I got to sleep at my usual time, 10pm and woke at 3am. I was so upset I texted the PA and noted that I need to go to another clinic to deal with this. She texted that she would escalate. Weeks later I had not heard anything about the machine but got a voicemail from someone named Steve. I returned his call and left a message with him. A woman called me back and seemed extremely agitated that I had called. Sometimes I don't read people correctly but she did seem upset and kept asking if I wanted to leave a message. I thought I had already done so but chose to do so again. I told Steve that I appreciated his call but I need help with why I cant sleep anymore and feel that I need to go to another clinic to deal with this. No one has called me back about the machine and I wanted to pursue it. This was a couple months ago. No one ever called about the machine. Steve never called me back. It is like I don't exist. I have been ignored.
