In the middle of winter, a hot water heater stopped working, and the needed part was out of stock everywhere. Tanya at Amor got the part ordered and sent overnight, and they scheduled a fantastic tech, Ted, that day. The hot water heater was fixed, and the cold family was warm. A pilot light for a new natural gas water heater was difficult to light and not staying on. Ted from Amor Plumbing came out the next morning. Ted was punctual, very knowledgeable, and experienced. He thoroughly explained his conclusions, replaced the controller and thermopile/pilot light assembly, and inspected the burner. There were no more issues after the service. Another customer came through the Noritz website. Amor Plumbing is the real deal with a demonstrated aptitude, and Ted was professional and intelligent. He delivered more than expected, seeking out PG&E for a gas feed issue and explaining the system. He is highly recommended for professionalism, competency, and timeliness. Ted from Amor Plumbing is a master of his craft. He took time to explain things and was very thoughtful in his approach. A new AO Smith water heater was making a buzz/humming noise. The customer called Amor Plumbing, and Tonya made a quick appointment for Ted. The noise was a known issue and was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Ted is very experienced and knowledgeable, and highly recommended.
This review is long overdue and it was probably by more than a year. My water heater stopped working and it turned out to be under a manufacturer recall. I called Amor Plumbing to schedule the installation once the new parts arrived, and the woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. After talking with her, I realized I probably should have called them first. If they had the parts available, they may have been able to get it installed faster, saved me a couple nights of cold showers, and spared me the headache of dealing with the manufacturer. In the middle of winter our hot water heater decided it didn't get enough attention and stopped working. Our unit controls the hot water and the heater. Needless to say, we were in a tough spot. The part to fix the problem? Out of stock everywhere. Not only did Tanya at Amor get the part ordered and sent overnight, they scheduled us a fantastic tech, Ted, that day. Hot water heater is happy, cold family is warm. I can't say enough about the service of Amor. 10 stars if they offered it!
The pilot light for our new natural gas water heater was difficult to light and not staying on for much more than a day. After troubleshooting with the vendor Tech Support they eventually referred us to Amor Plumbing Friday afternoon 8/15. On Saturday 8/16 morning, Ted, Technician from Amor Plumbing, came out to further troubleshoot our new water heater. Ted was punctual, very knowledgeable and experienced.
