As it was not an emergency (not a hot spell), he came out a few days later and after listening to my AC, diagnosed the problem. We discussed several alternatives (being an older, cheaper unit and he wasn't sure he could even fix it), we settled on one (no repair) and we were done. I was impressed with his overall knowledge and the fact that he was willing to discuss a no repair option (for the time being and until it went completely kaput). This gives me time to research getting a replacement unit. He even offered to come back and help with the install if needed.In a heart beat, I would call him back if needed.“
