64 Winfield St, San Francisco“I recently hired SBC Construction to complete a full bathroom remodel in my home, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, their professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and overall workmanship consistently exceeded my expectations.
Their team took the time to understand my vision, my style preferences, and the function I needed for the space. They offered suggestions that elevated the design even further and helped me make the best decisions regarding layout, finishes, fixtures, and materials. They stayed transparent throughout the entire project, kept me informed at every stage, and always made sure I felt comfortable with timelines, any adjustments needed, and overall project progress.
The quality of their work truly speaks for itself. Every detail is clean, precise, and built with craftsmanship and integrity. My bathroom now feels like a luxury spa — elegant, modern, and beautifully executed. They were respectful of my home, punctual, organized, and efficient. They also cared just as much about the final result as I did, and that is something rare to find.
I genuinely appreciate the level of care and professionalism SBC Construction demonstrated. They made the remodeling process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend SBC Construction to anyone looking to do renovations or major remodeling. Their quality of work, honesty, communication, and expertise makes them stand out from many other companies in this industry. I feel extremely grateful for the transformation they delivered, and I will absolutely use them again for any future projects in my home“

221 Moraga Way, Orinda“I am a real estate agent based in the Bay Area. In the past 5 years, I have recommended Omri, the founder of Renova Builders, to several clients who have purchased homes requiring renovations and upgrades before being sold. I have received numerous positive reviews praising him and his team, from their project management skills to their impeccable attention to detail in finishing touches. Omri demonstrates expertise, clear communication, and a consistent ability to complete projects on schedule. He maintains a high level of organization, and his team is both knowledgeable and approachable.“

The bathroom now features a gorgeous curbless shower, and the kitchen looks incredible with custom cabinets and granite countertops. Everything stayed on schedule and on budget, and the team was professional and reliable the whole way through. For a two-room remodel, it all felt a lot more manageable than we expected.“

2485 26th Ave, Oakland“We had minor water intrusion from an exterior staircase that leads to a rooftop deck on our San Francisco home. The original stair finish was a fabric-and-latex system that wasn’t meant to be a wear surface, and over time it started to fail.
After doing some research, we found Westcoat and decided their ALX™ system was the right solution. Westcoat referred us to M 7.24 Builders as a certified installer, and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out.
Enrique responded quickly, came out for measurements and photos, and had the job scheduled within just a few weeks. As the project moved forward, we added some much-needed railing repairs to the scope, which they priced fairly and handled smoothly.
The crew was fantastic—professional, respectful, and incredibly clean. Since they had to bring materials through the house, I appreciated how careful they were in protecting the interior.
The finished project exceeded expectations. If you need deck waterproofing or exterior work done right, I highly recommend M 7.24 Builders.
They're a licensed contractor and do much more than Westcoat systems. They're knowledgeable, flexible, and resourceful—well worth considering for other construction needs as well.
I'm including some before and after photos of stairs.“

Chris, John, Peter and the whole team have been fantastic. They have replaced our roof and most recently removed the shingles on the front of our home, repaired dry rot and replaced with new stucco. They did a beautiful job - feels like we have a new home.“
“We weren't able to work with Sontag Construction because they are too busy to take on our project right now, however Peter was very kind and helpful and gave me some very valuable advices as well as some referrals. Thanks a lot!“

505 Sansome St, San Francisco“Skyline Construction is one of the best commercial construction companies in the Bay Area. We had the opportunity of working with them on their San Francisco Headquarters and found their team to be incredibly collaborative, innovative and professional. They are great communicators who know how to efficiently anticipate their client’s needs. This is a company that values their clients, industry partners and employees at the highest level. They focus on building high end, well-crafted interior projects and can deliver on a fast track schedule. Throughout the design process they consistently sought to create spaces that reflected their clients and employees wants and needs. We highly recommend Skyline Construction to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and creative firm to partner with throughout the construction process.“

6112 Sutter Ave, Richmond“Ricki and his team at all things good did a great job on our house. They worked on insulation removal and installation and air draft sealing in our attic and crawlspace. They also installed a new heat pump and upgraded our ducts. The team was punctual, professional, and skilled. Toward the end of the project we had a couple of unanticipated requests and they were accommodating and so easy to work with. Now it’s months later and we have enjoyed what is clearly a more insulated and energy efficient home.“

Ward Construction is extremely knowledgeable and provided high quality work. I was extremely pleased with the end results. I would hire Ward Construction again for future needs.“

851 Trestle Glen Rd, Oakland“I received a grant through Earthquake Brace and Bolt for a seismic retrofit. When I contacted E&F Construction, Tony got back to me almost immediately, walked me through the process, answered all my questions, and recommended an engineer to draw up the plans.
Then, when I messed up my deadline and needed to get an estimate on short notice, Tony was there for me again. He took time out of his busy schedule to get me what I needed before my deadline, taking a ton of stress of my shoulders and saving the day.
I would highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a seismic retrofit (and in general as well).“

It’s very difficult to find a Furniture liquidator in San Francisco and I was very pleased to know they were a local company. They handled not just the liquidation but also the new furniture installation. On behalf of the St Regis team and myself I would like to say thank you Doneright for all your help. We hope to work together soon in the near future.“

2530 Tenth St #2, Berkeley“I am evaluating options for my first major whole-house remodel, and as part of that convoluted quest, I have found the feedback from Berkeley Craftsmen to be both thoughtful and informative. Michael & Lauren have been generous with their time, as well as with authentic assessments and guidance. There is really no doubting either BCs commitment to supporting the most rational approaches to a given project/purpose, nor their commitment to client service. The experience was night and day compared to the “hey, sure we can do it, whatever your budget!” hustle of so many contractors. Bottom line, get in touch if you’re considering a high-touch, high quality local project!“

“Ken is wonderful person and excellent at his job. He first started wroking for me when I bought my 1926 home in 1998. It needed absoultely EVERYTHING. He put in a new water line from the street, bolted and sheer walled and reinforced a major beam to earthquake-proof it, all new electrical and copper plumbing, beautifully finished a large part of the home that only had a cement floor and sink with no interior walls, completely remodeled one bathroom, rebuilt an entire side of my home due to undetected termite rot, hooked up all my appliances and more. What I paid is irrelevent because it was so long ago.
What is relevant is that Ken is a magician. Every time you are upset about something not going right (because that will always happen with any big job), he will come into the situation and figure out a solution that makes everyone happy (including a highly problematic architect). I'm totally serious about this. This skill alone is worth everything. His crews' craftsmanship is excellent. He finishes work within the time estimates. This is how good of a contractor Ken is: He has been working in the East Bay since the late 1970s and since the 1980s he has been living in the same home in North Berkeley to the present. You will always be able to contact him. He will always get back to you right away.
In terms of cost, I think he is right in the middle--not expensive and not inexpensive for contractors in the Bay Area.
Ken has helped me with many small problems that have arisen over the decades (painting my house, leaking roof; leaking at bathroom window; flooding occurring at my exterior bedroom door; etc.), and he always comes by to give me his time and advice and to hook me up with reliable people who can help me at the lowest cost.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful Ken is to work with.“
