While scheduling can be a bit challenging, Roman is a fantastic, hard-working contractor with a positive "can-do" attitude, and he is able to get things done on the competitive and affordable side of the spectrum. We definitely plan to consider hiring him again if we have other repair needs or construction projects in the future.
Dependable and great work at a fair price. Very punctual. Roman said he'd arrive between 10 and 11AM, and R&D appeared a few minutes before 10! Initially, Roman felt his ladder was too short to reach the awning we wanted removed, but he kept looking and thinking about how the job could be done. And sure enough, he got it done in less than two hours! We had another handyman, who had offered to do the work for $650, which is less than what R&D charged, but that handyman didn't have insurance for what was a somewhat risky job. Handyman Heroes came and raised their estimate from $600 to $4,500, saying they needed two guys to work 8 hours and rent a scaffold and pay to dispose the fabric somewhere!!!
We had Roman replace a bunch of water damaged wood throughout our house including siding, front porch, stairs, and railings. It was a bit of an intimidating project we had been putting off, but Roman made it super approachable. He is responsive, worked efficiently, and his pricing was very reasonable compared to other people we had quote the job. Definitely would hire him again for future projects!
