Sutter is known for excellent care, however it’s highly misleading that their doctors accept Medicare assignment, and are listed on the Medicare site, yet in reality Sutter stopped accepting original Medicare during the pandemic. I spoke with scheduling who confirmed that my appointments would be cancelled. Apparently, Sutter only accepts a few select premium Medicare Advantage plans. Those who are dual eligible aren’t welcome.

I’ve never been here myself but my grandfather has gone for a very long time and is always pleased. Today they were training a new woman at reception, she made a mistake with his schedule which was fine but instead of just acknowledging and correcting it she got upset and was very rude to my grandfather. The supervisor, Danya, immediately stepped in and helped, apologized, and fixed everything. She was so kind, and efficient. Later proceeded even to help him figure out how to use the app on his phone to update his Sutter app. Her as well as the other receptionist, Veronica, were so kind and so helpful and went so above and beyond to give my grandfather a lovely experience...read full review
