Family Medicine Sutter Medical Plaza Elk Grove Sutter Medical Foundation is a well-established medical facility in the Elk Grove/Laguna Creek area, operating for over 30 years. The facility is up-to-date and requires all visitors and employees to wear face masks, providing them for free if needed. The lab and x-ray services are located on the ground level, while most doctors' offices are upstairs, with a directory in front of the elevators. The large parking lot ensures visitors can find a spot, though not always the closest to the main entrance. While the facility's primary care doctors and urgent care services are generally satisfactory, some patients have reported difficulties in accessing specialty care, such as dermatology. The staff's knowledge of the latest medical developments, such as COVID-19 vaccine updates, could also be improved.
I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Todd Fisher today. He is patient, considerate, and attentive. He took my health history without rushing me, and the way he spoke with me was exceptionally kind. His polite manner reduced my anxiety and apprehension by at least 50% during the visit. I felt heard, understood, and comfortable. It’s rare to meet a physician who can make such a meaningful impact just through and communication.

Visited dr. Grijnsztein for allergy appointment, he was so incredibly nice to me and explained thoroughly how allergies work. He informed me without making me feel stupid!! Great service and nothing to complain about from me.
Sutter is known for excellent care, however it’s highly misleading that their doctors accept Medicare assignment, and are listed on the Medicare site, yet in reality Sutter stopped accepting original Medicare during the pandemic. I spoke with scheduling who confirmed that my appointments would be cancelled. Apparently, Sutter only accepts a few select premium Medicare Advantage plans. Those who are dual eligible aren’t welcome.
