“Our prime contractor for our house renovation project, which included new hardwood floors in the kitchen and in the master bedroom, office and hallway, was Kitchen Mart, who normally subcontracts with the Floor Store for wood flooring. But they were not available and they recommended Blue Ribbon. Bob, Dan, Charles, Samuel and their other colleagues at Blue Ribbon did a very professional job, for a competitive price. They use Bona products, which are the top-rated in the business, so that just shows their commitment to quality. Other floor contractors balked at finding oak planks for the kitchen to match the 1926 floor in the rest of the first level of the house, but Blue Ribbon didn't bat an eye and they did a great job of matching the existing floor. They even found toe molding for the upstairs carpet replacement that didn't just cover the gap, but actually enhanced the look of the existing baseboards. They finished on schedule and the odor from the oil-based polyurethane that we used to make the kitchen match the 1926 flooring has even dissipated a few days earlier than they estimated. We are very satisfied customers.

It's interesting how the reviews are so disparate - 99% are 5 stars and the remaining handfull are 1 star, and of those, only two have to do with actual projects. That seems like a pretty stellar track record to me.“
