He recommended adding in insulation which I have noticed has made a big difference already in maintaining the temperature inside my home. He also informed me that I would be eligible for a GoGreen home loan to help finance the project which was a big help.Next, Ricky, the lead on the installation team was also very communicative. Ricky also helped me afterwards with the warranty.Alex, the owner of the company, walked me through the GoGreen application and gave the supporting documentation to the loan company for that. “I would like to thank Jovany Cuellar and Salvador Cuellar for doing an amazing job on 2 projects in my home. I sincerely appreciate their honesty in project pricing, good communication skills (they are working on projects daily but they do respond in a timely manner), highly skilled workmanship, amazing attention to detail and impeccable work ethic. Cuellar Property Solutions completed a carpet/linoleum demo with a vinyl floor installation for a 498 sq ft family room. After demo it was obvious the concrete subflooring was going to need to be leveled prior to installing a 20mil vinyl plank flooring. His cost proposal for the added/new project scope of leveling the concrete subfloor was reasonable and honest. (I sought out 2 other estimates that were ridiculously high) . With that said; the completion of the concrete leveling of the subfloor, installation of the vinyl plank flooring and the baseboards looks amazing. (please see photos) Additionally, they clean up after demo/construction and haul away the trash after each project. (I have experienced contractors leaving a mess and trash after a project) My second project was to add quartzite ledger to my existing brick fireplace which required having to level the brick surface to apply the floating quartzite ledger and quartzite corner pieces. They also creatively installed 12x24 porcelain tile on the landing in front of the fireplace. With that part of the project they very creatively, cut pieces of the quartzite ledger in order to create a quartzite bullnose to frame the tile installed on the fireplace landing. Again, this speaks to their creativity, skill, workmanship and work ethic to complete the job and make it look beautiful. I am extremely pleased with this outcome. As a homeowner I have had to hire several contractors in the last two years and I have had the worst experience with having to spend more money to correct the poor workmanship of these unskilled contractors. However, I am grateful to have met Jovany and Salvador because I trust and believe they are honest contractors that have my best interest at heart and are willing to help me understand the best way to complete my project vision. “During all the atmospheric rivers we've had this winter, I was surprised to find a flood in my crawl space. After hiring another company to pump it out and install a temporary pump it was recommended that I have a French drain installed on the side of the house. I called Ward Construction and Henry came out to look at the problem. He sent me a contract proposal and I showed my kids and they thought it was a good company to do business with. It took several months to start the job but after a week of work and some noise it's done! I have to thank Raffa, Jose and Sergio for their good work. “I have found Alward Construction to be such a class act. Along with work they did on my house, they poured the perimeter foundation for my accessory building 10-plus years ago. Shortly after that, I needed to put the accessory building build on hold. Recently, upon resuming the accessory building build (on my own), it came to my attention that a hold-down was missing. It truthfully felt odd and embarrassing, on my part, to reach out to Alward Construction after so many years, But I did. Mark was understanding and treated the situation as if they had poured the foundation last week. Not only did they come out to install the bolt, Mark sent Rafael, the builder who was the Lead on the my project more than 10 years ago and Rafael's right hand person from more than 10 years ago!
