We love to sit in our backyard looking at our beautiful waterfall and relaxing to the soothing sounds of the water cascading over the rocks. “We recently completed a landscaping project that included a new front lawn, a backyard fire pit and fire ring, an expanded planting area, and new irrigation in both the front and back yards.<br><br>Overall, we are happy with the finished project. The fire pit and planting area turned out beautifully, and the lawn looks great. There were a few dead spots in the new grass, but the team returned and repaired them.<br><br>There were a couple of details that did not fully meet our expectations. We had a propane box installed to supply the fire pit, and we were disappointed with the cover, which was made from only two large standard tiles and does not look as finished as we had hoped. We were also surprised that much of the irrigation system was installed using flexible tubing rather than Schedule 40 pipe that was trenched and buried. Since much of the tubing is covered only by bark, we are concerned it could be damaged as people walk through the area.<br><br>That said, Nick did a good job helping us plan the project and was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. Despite a few areas that could have been handled differently, we are pleased with the overall outcome.”

“We worked with Landscape Experts Inc (LEI) to revitalize our wild yard, cutting back swaths of overgrowth and transforming it with a variety of beautiful California native plants and nine fruit trees. They also carved out a lovely hillside with custom stairs, a spacious terrace, and game trails perfect for enjoying the view. LEI works with YesPlease.Garden (YPG) who managed the design process and Fresh Coat Restoration who completed the new fence. The partnerships were well integrated and it felt like working with a single team. See my Google Maps review for more on YPG. We are very happy with our project and would recommend LEI because they were professional, courteous, reliable, and provided clear and upfront pricing. Documenting decisions in writing proved helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. Any problems we had were resolved fairly, such as correcting the direction of our stairs. Aaron is a man of his word but prefers to conduct most of his business through texting. We first contacted LEI and they promptly scheduled a time to visit our property with YPG to see what was possible within the budget we set out. We completed the design with YPG and LEI scheduled a time for the project demolition. A later approximate time for planting was set, but that was dependent on the availability of the various plants we had selected. Everything scoped in the design was completed within the budget and any add-ons we later requested were priced separately and fairly.”

We had both the front and back yard completely changed with a focus on reducing our lawn area and increasing our planting areas. The design process was very collaborative and creative. The scope included both soft scaping for plants and hard scaping for walkways and patio area. Frans was our principle contact and he has a fantastic knowledge of plants and helped select the right plants to place according to our liking and appropriate to the sun, soil, and environmental conditions. Also a key point is that they had their team on the job every day from the day-one start to the end of the job with no gaps or delays. Every day they showed up on time / even early, and worked a full day without fail. If you are considering landscaping work I recommend them highly.”

“We just wrapped up a huge overhaul of our backyard with Jeff and Courtney from TriValley Landscaping and we truly could not be happier. We originally called Jeff to talk about fixing our drainage issues - our yard would flood every time it rained, and pool near the patio and foundation. Jeff was so thorough and explained where all our pain points were and how we could most effectively fix them. We decided to install French drains and pumps on both sides of the house to get water moving the right direction.<br><br>Once we started digging, Jeff and his team realized we could make the drainage work without pumps by grading the yard differently - saving us tons of money! Naturally, we got excited and decided to increase the scope of work to include more landscaping, a few footpaths, small seating area, a bunch of sod for a new lawn, irrigation and a ton of new plants and trees. Jeff and Courtney checked in with us about budget throughout the whole project, making sure to send us new estimates when I got excited about adding something else to the revamp.<br><br>The team onsite were great - personable, on time, respectful, and they also seemed to really enjoy working with each other, which we felt was a good sign.<br><br>I absolutely adore my new outdoor space and we anticipate enjoying it with our family for many years to come. If we ever need more work done, I’m calling TriValley!”

“5 stars all the way! We've used Hansen on two projects now, and it certainly won't be our last. They do top tier work, and also make it easy on you.<br><br>Our recent project was a complete overhaul of our front and side yard, and we really didn't know what we wanted since we were working with a blank slate (tearing out old Juniper). We met with Louis for the initial consultation and really just shared ideas of what we had in mind (some boulders, plants/trees, lighting, new stairs, etc.). He, Jack, and the team really brought it to life by designing it from scratch (using ideas and preferences we shared) and then working with us throughout the project to make sure everything was installed to our preference. We made a few tweaks along the way (swapping out tree preferences, picking stone colors, etc.), but they easily accommodated and also helped guide us when we weren't quite sure what we wanted.<br><br>They're also punctual/show up on time, clean up after themselves, communicate daily, and even finished the project early! We anticipated a 4-5 week project but they busted it out in the month of February and even had a few days rained out.<br><br>We have zero complaints and can't wait to bring the team back for future projects. I highly recommend Hansen Landscape to anyone looking to do a big (or small) landscape project.”

“We needed shared fence built because the posts on the existing had cracked. We called for an estimate and the following day Mario was out to give us a quote. He was professional and personable. He took the time to speak with our neighbors and explained our options. We agreed on using steel posts. Mario made what could have been awkward into a fun amicable agreement. The crew arrived on time and the tear down and new fence were done by 2:30. They are quick and accurate, building the fence with precision. It looks magnificent! Devil Mountain has an overwhelming selection of plants and trees so we walked around and took pictures of things we liked and sent them to Joel. Joel came back to our house to go over what we would remove, what we would add and placement. Joel incorporated our choices, made recommendations and placed things where they would best grow.
