“I bought a home in Placerville recently that had an unusual combination of old and new electrical system. This was complicated by the fact that the line from PG&E into the house crossed a very busy street and was hung much lower than current code allows for safety. Initially, PG&E sought to have me cover the cost of sending a new wire across the street and into a receiver that I had Carnahan install much higher on my house. Jim Strauss of Carnahan Electric went to bat for me with PG&E and successfully negotiated a much lower shared cost on my end. This was a months long process and Jim held firm and argued convincingly with the powers that be at PG&E. The work was completed yesterday and I got a call from Nate with Carnahan this morning just to make sure I was satisfied and all was well. I am beyond satisfied and I am so pleased to unhesitatingly recommend Carnahan Electric for all your electrical needs.
