“If you’re building an ADU, call Ralph! With his help, we converted our garage into a one-bedroom/one-bathroom apartment-we love how it turned out. From the get-go, I appreciated the professionalism of his detailed list of everything included. He offered a fair price-in fact it was less than some other companies claiming to specialize in ADU's. He worked with our budget and architect’s plans (which were a little off but he thankfully corrected them), and we passed all the city inspections. The kitchen in the unit exceeded our expectations and the bathroom shower tile work is lovely. Our tenants commented on what a high-quality build it was compared to other places they have lived. He did double insulation on the shared wall with the house and there is virtually no noise between the two units which we are so happy about. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation. He was also very patient while we waited for the county cleanup, power to return, and other delays. I also spoke with the owner, Jon, and learned a lot from him about the process, which was super helpful. The estimate provided was so detailed it was even accepted by State Farm.
Jenny was amazing as well, handling financials, appointments, and follow-up with incredible efficiency.

“I contracted with Horizon Construction & Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, which included all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance installation, and lighting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager.

I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests.

The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions.

The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!“
