It was immediately clear that they were focused on understanding what was going on rather than moving us through quickly.

Doctor Ahn was thorough and thoughtful during the exam and explained her observations in a way that was easy to understand. Instead of immediately pushing expensive tests, she walked me through what she were seeing, what the possible causes could be, and what options made sense at this stage. When diagnostics were discussed, the reasoning behind them was clearly explained, which made me feel informed and confident rather than pressured.

What stood out most was the level of communication and care. The doctor discussed supportive steps we could take right away, what signs to monitor at home, and how to prioritize next steps if my dog’s condition changed. I left the appointment feeling reassured, informed, and like my dog had truly been cared for, not just examined.

The entire team treated my dog with patience and kindness, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about his comfort and well-being. After a stressful experience elsewhere, this clinic was a huge contrast in the best way possible.

Vets are expensive as it is, but they don't make you feel like it's about the money before they will even schedule you, as though that's the first concern. I've had that experience at another vet. The cost is so affordable and they are also giving promos. The vet is genuinely caring for the pets and helping pet owners get an affordable price with great service. The care, kindness and overall service they provide are worth it. We live 30 mins away and we would be willing to travel this far and make them our primary hospital to our 5 pets (2 dogs, 3 cats).

“I came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. The front desk, techs, and doctor were all so friendly and helpful, and even apologetic about my experience with the first place. I am so grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“

“Via Verde Animal Hospital was recommended to me by a good friend, and I had to take my dog in today because she had an issue with her eye. Everyone was so nice with my dog and treated her very well.
They gave me their recommendations of what I should do. I think I found my new vet, I was going all the way to Alhambra from West Covina, but I think I'm going to switch over to Via Verde because I have a few cats at home, so lots of animals that need attention from time to time. They where so understanding about my dogs anxiety and made us feel welcome, we have taking our dog to other vets in the past that have not believed us or made us feel guilty about our dogs uneasiness and crying in the vets. Can be very embarrassing for us. But this clinic was very understanding and respectful of our concerns. Happy to have finally found a vets office for my dog. They were also respectful of our time. I informed the staff to his condition after they nearly sent us away (to not charge for work they would probably not be able to complete because of his aggression). “Brought my boy in he needed a same day appointment they were fast, friendly, took my budget into consideration and made a plan to do what we could at the cheapest cost. They didn't judge me for that decision like some vets do. And didn't push any further that I needed to spend more. I'm really happy with my outcome, although expensive, what vet isn't right? Also the place itself is lovely, it's clean, nicely decorated, chairs in our room so we were comfortable the whole time. I'd recommend this place if you need an urgent appointment.“
