“This review is long overdue. I’ve been getting my hair done by Karla since 2020 when she brought my dream hair to reality (half red, half black). From our first meeting, her personality was very kind, warm and welcoming. I genuinely felt that I could put my full faith into her hands. And over the years she’s obliged my requests regardless of how challenging they were. We’ve gone from warm to cold, from bright to dark and everything in between. The amount of work and care she puts into every client is astounding. Her techniques are very precise, and despite all the bleaching we’ve done — my hair is not brittle and weak which definitely lets me know that the products she is using are high quality. She is also attentive to ensure each hair follicle is lightened adequately without compromising the hair. I also love that she is very willing to try different things and is not stuck doing the same look for every client which is awesome because it shows a level of confidence and authenticity in her craft. I also appreciate the honesty if there is ever any doubt in achieving a certain tone. There’s times I might want a super light color after being very dark which isn’t always realistic but she definitely does what she can to bring us as close to my goals as possible. Her rates are also very fair considering how much inflation has driven prices up. I’ve been a dedicated client for years and will trust no one else with my hair.
