“My friend introduced me to this place. I wish I were still local because I would come here for my nails all the time. I thought I wanted one thing (turquoise shimmer catseye over dark plum, like my friend has), but the tech showed me other things /like/ that, and I ended up with something I like a lot more (see image!). “I looked up a place to do lashes/brows roughly right when Birth of Venus had opened a couple of years ago. Since then I have moved away towards Monterey, but I still try and sneak into their studio if I’m ever in the area. Yesterday happened to be one of those days, so I checked online to see if I could be added to the waitlist. Crystal reached out to me about a time slot and fit me right in! I love coming to Birth of Venus. I do the eyelash lift/tint and a little brow dye and always walk out so happy. Coming from someone who is not very high maintenance, it’s just so nice to have these two things done because then I never even have to worry about makeup! I work early shifts, so I can just get up and go! Their salon is so cute and fun and the girls are so friendly. I’m so appreciative of Crystal and the team at Birth of Venus!“

They are very kind always even patient when I have to reschedule my appointment which happens frequently. They just made some investments in their equipment and have all new chairs. What a wonderful local treasure. I go there all the time for facials, waxing and mani pedi. They are so convenient and accommodating. Best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had.“

“I cannot rave about Vienna enough. If you have curly hair, she is the one to go to. I haven't met a hairdresser who is as mindful about attention to detail as she is. I've been going to her for about 1.5/2 years now, and I can't imagine going to anyone else.
I get a layered look with bangs, usually 2 inches off the bottom. I go every 3 months. I have very thick, wavy to curly hair.“
