Our German Shepherd, Kona, is a very large (100 lb) and anxious dog, having been a stray before we adopted him at an estimated 10 months. Dr. Tamara Abraham was wonderful with him, allowing all treatments (examination, vaccines, blood draw and nail trim) to be done in the exam room, avoiding the severe separation anxiety he experiences when taking him into the back alone. We had anticipated that we might not be able to get Kona to tolerate everything needed in one visit, but Dr Abraham and her assistant proceeded so confidently and compassionately that it was accomplished. Coast Veterinary Services is utterly amazing! From the cleanliness, organization, and simple decorative touches in the lobby and rooms to the kindness and professionalism of all members of staff, everything was incredible! I cannot recommend enough Dr. Dembner, she is so fantastic and really takes the time to examine your pet and advise the best treatments and care. If you are looking for a great hospital, look no further!
