I needed a specialist who could also do curls. So lucky we crossed paths. She is so knowledgeable in her craft, crazy kind, and super passionate about what she does. Krystal has been doing my hair for 10+ years and is an absolute gem. She is so kind and talented, and I really trust her with my hair. As someone with long, very thick hair, I've had some unfortunate cuts in the past, but Krystal never misses and always leaves me feeling refreshed and happy with my hair. She's also cut my two year old son's hair, and was so patient and sweet with him for his first haircut.

“Emily is amazing!! I’ve been seeing her for cut and color for a couple of years now and she always does a great job. She’s super friendly and funny and we always have a good time during the service. Emily has great ideas and never just does whatever she wants on your hair - like some stylists I’ve had in the past do. All and all I definitely recommend Emily! The space: Beach Shack is a super clean and very cute space. The atmosphere is fun and they provide lots of different hair services and have a variety of drinks to offer clients.

“I went to Supercuts on Saturday evening. Tasha took me in immediately. I’m always apprehensive about a new hairdresser because in my experience few seem capable or confident with a pixie cut. So I brought her a pic from the internet of Jada pinkett smith. It was the first pic that came up when I searched pixie pic. It’s about exactly what I wanted and she looks gorgeous in it. Tasha took one look, loved it too and immediately got to work. My hair had been all overgrown and shapeless but she made it about as close to perfect as I could hope for. It all took less than half an hour, I didn’t have anything else done. So next time you’re in Oceanside if you need a good haircut, especially a pixie try Supercuts in the mall on Maren rd. (Tasha doesn’t generally work Saturdays so be sure to get an appointment with her. She’s fun to talk to)“
