I recently went to the Urgent Care clinic after having difficulty making an appointment with my PCP...the entire experience was great. I got right into triage, saw a doctor and had lab work done within an hour. Although it turned out not to be something that was resolved during my visit, I felt like I was treated with compassion and skill by both the nurse and doctor. Positive experience within the Sutter Health Care system.
I came into Alta Bates yesterday morning because I had scraped my forehead.I was immediately greeted by a nurse who was in touch with me and available throughout the whole visit.His presence was warm, unobtrusive and reassuring. A bigger surprised was meeting my doctor, who came in from time to time, telling me the results of tests. His real concern was that I hadn't gotten over a bronchial infection and he took real pains to explain why. Although the laceration was treated, I was also prescribed steroids and a death inhaler. The waiting time, the cleanliness of the facilities, and professional attention to the patient were great. I don’t want to go to ER or urgent care facilities but if I have to I would choose this Urgent care place.
