My former hairstylist had left town, and I went to go see another stylist to touch up my layers. That stylist unfortunately did not do a good job. I had chunks of hair rather than layers blended into one another, so much weight taken off some pieces that the hair was sticking up, and uneven layers on each sides. Oddly, some layers were not even taken all the way around my head—they just kind of stopped. It was truly the worst haircut I had ever gotten and also the most expensive. (Side note: do not go see William at Queen hair salon.)

From the very first moment I arrived I felt very warmly welcomed and cared about. Wendy was so sweetly attentive and asked tons of good questions to help learn about what was important to me about my hair as well as what products I use and how I take care my own hair as well as my topper. I had a lot of anxiety going to a new salon (since I moved) due to severe alopecia and being seen without my topper and she was very conscious of and sensitively supported me around making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process.
