“Love working with V&W. Paul came out and talked with us to help us choose better windows than what we had. He showed us samples of a few brands. We also went to their showroom in West Berkeley to see the full size windows. Gave us a quote for MIlgard energy efficient windows and a sliding patio door. Quote was very competitive compared to the Anderson and Pella windows we also got quoted. We ended up only ordering the sliding patio door, and will get the rest of the windows in the future, but Paul was happy to work with us on the smaller job. We got a formal quote, paid a deposit, and six weeks later (just as promised) the Milgard patio door showed up at V&W. Their installer, Damian, called to arrange a time to install, which he did this Wednesday. Damian was on time, friendly, and very professional. Highly recommend V&W. “I've had several windows built here over the years. Each project has gone great... I got what was ordered.You need to understand this place is old school. There's a front office. They've heard what email is, but don't really use it. Bring a pencil and paper and be prepared to wait. But you watch the production processing chugging along right there. No computers. No CAD. Just wood, saws and various types of glass (including various glazing). Everything they build, they can repair (unlike modern plastic/metal/fiberglass creations which are disposable).“
