Loved that hospitality I was given from beginning to end. Got greeted, checked in and started with the pre-exam right away. Very professional impression all the way through. Dr Hansson was very down to earth and professional during my contact lenses exam. In the end I worked with one of the technicians in picking out my new glasses, loved that they introduced to me anti-reflective and new transitional lenses features that my 16 year old glasses (got broken by one of my toddlers unfortunately) never had! Broke down the costs of everything so no surprises. Can’t wait to try on my new glasses in 3 weeks! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Hansson is an Optometrists you can truly trust. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to listen, understand, and help.

Alameda Eyes Optometry is very special- not only because of the level of care, but because of his staff as well. They are attentive, caring, thorough, and always pleasant to interact with.

I’ve worked with several optometrists over the years at this Alameda institution, but Dr. Hansson might just be my favorite! He and his front office team are old-school Alameda: super personable, friendly and welcoming. If you want a team that cares deeply about you (not just your eye health) then this is the place to be.
