Our affiliate is a wonderful community space. Small, yet mighty. Jordan, the owner and head coach, is truly excellent. He's seen a lot over the years and been through the evolution of the sport (CrossFit). He's incredibly thoughtful and knows what works, and what is important, for our community. Opus is a unique place and Jordan and his team create all gym programming themselves. I really admire this about them. Their starting point is understanding what we're all here for, in Whistler. Things like skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, cycling, running… recreational, and pro-level. I'm in my middle 50's and have been a member at Opus for 6 years. Jordan has been instrumental to my fitness training and he is an important part of my team! The coaches provide great strength & mobility programming and offer support when I need scaling options or if I'm working though injuries. The gym is well-equipped, clean, and organized. The members are friendly, fit, and inspiring! I encourage anyone looking to improve their health and wellness to give Jordan a call.

I have been training and competing in Crossfit for many years and when I moved to Whistler 2 years ago the first thing I did was find a gym. What stands out about Opus other than the programming (which is exceptional) is the community. It has become a family. The coaches, Jordan and Lewis create such a welcoming environment. They coach with such authentic kindness and compassion and make everyone feel a sense of belonging. They are a wealth of knowledge about all things training. If you want to get functionally strong, be ready for bike/ski season, or are just looking to join a fun, health focused community I couldn't recommend Opus more. <3
