“Very impressive work. I brought in a thilthy down vest that has had 15 years of hard outdoor use and was badly stained with an OILY CURRY that had leaked into my bag. It was in a truly disgusting state. They cleaned it up perfectly, and the price was fair. Not saying you should subject them to this type of garment but I think it's testament to their technique.“

“I came here on a Saturday to have a poke around at some sewing machines. This was my second visit to the few shops that sold sewing machines in Vancouver. Honestly, night and day in terms of service and attentiveness.

Sabine was welcoming, personable and let me play around with the machines. She gave me some options to think about, took my name and number and said she’d call me when they reopen on Wednesday to see how I went. Sure enough, after I had a few days to sleep on it and do some more research, I get her call and I end up closing on a Pfaff Select 4.2. Picked it up on the same day.

The place is cool. Museum of old machines on the top shelves, then all the display machines within reach. Looked like they had all the bits and bobs you’d need for your machine. Also looked like they repair machines too, which is comforting to see.

I’ll definitely be back, as I fumble my way through my sewing era.“
