“I recently had laser removal of old permanent eyebrow makeup that was over 10 years old, and I was quite nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I met Ailie, she made me feel completely at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly.

The procedure itself was surprisingly quick, and before I knew it, it was over. When Ailie handed me the mirror afterward, we were both pleasantly surprised by the immediate results.

I’m still in the healing stage, but my brows are already looking so much softer and more natural. The heavy, saturated look that had built up over the years has been significantly reduced, and I honestly feel like I look 10 years younger. I wasn’t expecting such a noticeable improvement after just one treatment.

“I've had multiple great experiences at Sacred Heart. My artist, Syd, has been so easy to work with, and has produced two stunning pieces. They do a great job of putting you at ease, making you feel welcome, and providing guidance about your art - I would recommend Syd to anyone. Their flash pieces seem really fun, but my pieces were custom and Syd really helped bring them to life.

The shop itself is clean, friendly, and has a great vibe. I would bet anyone from a newbie to a vet would be comfortable here. There are lots of shops in Vancouver, but I can't imagine going to a different one.“

During our consultation, I told him I wanted a full sleeve featuring koi and lotuses. He took the time to explain traditional Irezumi—how the background works, the symbolism, and the overall flow of the piece. He also mentioned that he wouldn’t show me the design until the day of the first session, which honestly made me a bit nervous. About a week before we started, he reached out to finalize some details, which really helped put me at ease.
When my first session arrived, I was both excited and nervous. Stepping into his studio immediately felt like walking into someone’s home—warm, welcoming, and calm. I even took my shoes off, and did so for all five sessions. Just like many other reviews mention, the space is spotless, quiet, and relaxing. Trust the process—seriously. When Marcus showed me the design for the first time, it was far beyond anything I could have imagined. He took everything we talked about during the consultation and translated it perfectly onto paper. I was blown away and couldn’t have been happier.
We completed the sleeve over five sessions, booking every two weeks. Throughout the process, you could really see his focus and attention to detail. The sessions never felt boring—we had great conversations, and the time flew by.
His line work, shading, and colouring are absolutely amazing. After each session, the tattoo somehow kept getting better, and even now I continue to notice new details. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the result.
