Very happy to have found this barber here in mission. Ahmed has done a great job on my son’s haircut twice now. Price is reasonable compared to other barbers in mission. One improvement could be some cushions to sit on for parents, the benches are not comfy to sit on long, not a deal breaker for me, but maybe something to consider! Will definitely be back!

At Christmas, luggage full of gifts, I thought I'd have to travel minus extra clothing. Telling Kathleen my woes, she went into her house and came back with one of her own large purses for me to use. I'm sure if someone needed it, she'd give them the coat off her back! She's that kind of person a true treasure as well as a marvelous hairdresser. Kudos to Essentials Hair!!

Mika took her time and I felt like I got luxury treatment. My nails are so beautiful and all of Mika’s prep work was so thorough and professional. Her personality is warm and so inviting, alongside being so knowledgeable. I haven’t had a better experience anywhere else in Mission.

Best place in town to go to for Acrylic nails, pedicures, manicures, etc. Never had a bad experience. Always super friendly and willing to squeeze in an appointment when they can. Would give 10/10 stars if possible!

I had my hair done in wild Festival bubble braids by Hannah and not only did she take her time to perfect my look but I've had it in for 10 days now and it's still comfortable and holding its shape and prices were very fair! Hannah is amazing and I can't wait to go back and get my hair done like this again. ?????

They know how to cut and style curly hair and they are awesome hairdressers, I came in today to have them fix up a cut I got at l a different salon that I wasn’t happy with, and they did awesome! My boyfriend came in for a haircut and beard trim a little while ago after trying multiple barbers and ZZ Cuts did a great job for a way better price! This will be my salon for the foreseeable future :)

Got my makeup done here as a bridesmaid and it was SO well done! I shared a photo of what I had in mind, and she nailed it. I was really impressed with how well she colour matched my skin too. The price was super reasonable too. I was very happy overall and would definitely return.

I have been coming to Mission Hills Chiropractic and Massage for over 5 years now. Most recently I have been seeing Dr. Ryan Kowalski for all of 2024. What an amazing clinic. Ryan and the entire staff have been life giving and are community builders. My body has been moving in the right direction under their exceptional care. Five walnut cracks out of five!
I have been buying my cat food here for 3 + years but had my old vet in Maple ridge . Taking 3 cats in the truck there was too much so I thought I'd give this place a try. Dr Dakota is absolutely amazing . The front staff are always friendly and the tech is lovely also . ( I wish I knew the names / name ). I was pleasantly surprised for 3 cats blood work , Zeppelin had an abscess( so antibiotics, draining and anti-inflammatory) , and for 3 cats shots ( so 3 cats all together ) the price didn't drain my bank account! I'll be taking all my future animals here for everything ?UPDATE : Mickey was quite sick on Thursday .I brought him in and had Dr. Stewart . She's also absolutely amazing. She had his blood work back in less than 15 minutes , spent time explaining what she thought was wrong and after an antibiotic injection, fluid injection, anti-inflammatory,appetite stimulant pill and potassium he was already cuddling me and
meow talking to me again within that day ! Price was reasonable for what they did ,including meds . I'm so happy I found this vet!!! The clerk's/ techs were really sweet when I was worried and crying in the room .
I phoned Stave Lake Vet this morning and got an appt for a couple of hrs later. The Vet and Assistant were so professional and empathetic to our dog’s needs. My dog was in extreme pain due to an infected foot, from an overgrown dew claw. The vet promptly removed his dewclaw, gave us easy aftercare instructions, meds and a reasonably priced bill. I highly recommend Stave Lake Vet !!!

Took our dog here twice. The groomer was very keen to ensure we got what we wanted but both times our dog came back with fairly inconsistent grooming. Some hairs quite a bit longer. Knots left on the very edge of her fur easily pulled out by us. The prices are average but the groom is a little rushed looking. But the dog was groomed and she was happy and Shagadelic is incredibly fast at grooming! So depends what you are looking for.
