We had our heat pump installed by WestIsle a couple of months ago and we have been very happy with all aspects of the system and install.Vendor and system selection:Casey came out and did the initial inspection and quote. He was terrific to work with, very knowledgeable and really straight shooting with all our questions and pricing etc. We are new to heat pumps so I had a ton of questions for Casey, at least 2 follow up emails and 2 phone calls.... (appreciate Casey's patience ;) ...whole process probably took us about 6 to 8 weeks to make our decision). I also liked that Casey gave us quotes on 2 different yet comparable suppliers (Daikin & Mitsubishi) which gave us some flexibility in features and pricing. We got quotes from a few other companies as well, but for the systems we were considering we just felt Casey's service and the pricing from WestIsle was the most reasonable, and transparent.Installation:We were able to arrange installation about 2 weeks after paying our deposit. Nathan and his helper arrived shortly after 9AM on day 1 and the whole install took about 2 days. We were really impressed with Nathan's professionalism, organization, and how clean they left the site each day. We had a 3 head system installed in our single level home, so they ran most of the refrigerant lines through our attic. The lines were bundled and secured out of the way in the attic. The outside unit and the wiring / refrigerant line runs also looked very clean. Nathan also suggested an option for shorter drain piping on the outside walls where each indoor unit head is located. Very happy about that as it minimizes the amount of drain piping on the outside walls. The drain pipes don't look that bad to begin with, but the shorter drains make everything look a bit cleaner.We were working from home the entire time while the install was under way, and there was no disruption. Also, really want to emphasize how polite and respectful Nathan was while working around our home. At the end of day 2, Nathan explained how the system and remotes work and when he left everything was spotless.The Follow up:We got some follow up emails a day or 2 later from WestIsle with some additional info. final invoicing, and some info about the grant process. etc. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a separate email noting our warranty had been registered with the manufacturer! Great service from end to end. Very pleased with our choice to go with WestIsle!

My Home Depot dishwasher contractor cancelled on me twice and was unprofessional in every interaction, so I sought my own plumber. Steve was recommended by a friend who owns a kitchen reno company.He was responsive, easy to talk to, personable, and just an all round nice guy who also is licensed to do the electrical my install required. He also fixed my leaky hose bib for a fair price. I'd definitely hire him again!
My 30-year-old oak kitchen cupboards were badly in need of sanding and refinishing, but I realized too that the colour of the wood just made my small kitchen dreary. Jared brought over some samples of their enamel spray-painted cupboard doors in off white, and so I said YES! They took all the drawer fronts and doors and worked on them in their shop, then came back to spray all the other parts in place and finish up. It was all done so smoothly, great communication, careful prepping and clean-up. It's absolutely wonderful in my kitchen now. Thank you to the whole team!

The salesmen Anthony was always available and ready to answer any questions. I spoke to 4 companies before selecting Rockwell to install our LX Viatera quartz countertops in our kitchen and both bathrooms. I trusted Sean. He was always on time, answered my many questions with honesty and many years of experience. He and his brother did a great job installing our countertops with a wall that wasn't square. The surface on one of our Viatera slabs was faulty. Viatera paid for a new slab but would not pay for another install. Rockwell didn't hesitate to change the quartz on the island including taking out the 3 sinks in 2 bathrooms and replacing those countertops making everything right.
We had an old gas fireplace removed and a new one installed. The service was excellent right from the estimate to the finished installation. Everything was done on time and all the staff were very pleased and friendly. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you for a great experience from start to finish. She listens to what I say even if I can’t find the right words and understands that I don’t style my hair and gives me cuts that work with my no fuss lifestyle. This is my go to place for pedicures and now my go to place for nail extensions. Wendy and her team always do an exceptional job with their pedicures. Today I came in on my lunch break asking Wendy for help. I received gel extensions elsewhere last week and was very unhappy with the shape, color and thickness. Wendy fit me in this evening (I’m sorry I forget the women’s name who helped me) and I left SO happy. We tried the new trend “cat eyes” and my nails turned out stunning! I will never go anywhere else again for anything. Just above and beyond grateful for Glossed.

After feeling overwhelmed at dealing with unknown contractors that didnt share the same work ethics and service I valued, it was a pleasure to work with Kelly and the staff at Comox Electric. In my experience, many companies don't give small jobs the same attention they do large contracts - that is never the case with this company. Large or small, everyone gets the same care and expertise. They have not only taken care of several small but essential electrical repairs, but even came rushing to help when a breaker went with a spark, to figure out what happened. Always upfront with costs and time estimates and on target.I feel confident in recommending their work, particularly to those who want to feel assured the work done is the best.

We took the time to explore quotes with all the flooring companies in the area. I think under the new ownership, overall nufloors beats others in this area when it comes to flooring. They are friendly, helpful and flexible. Also I feel like we got a pretty good price on both the materials and labour. They also do their best to help work around unique requirements and timelines and try to help find solutions to related issues that come up during Reno's. So if you don't have the energy to shop around, I'd say NuFloors is a safe bet.
I’ve gone to my fair share of RMTs over the past couple years and decided to try somewhere new and had my best most beneficial massage yet. I went and saw Tanner at Dynamic and he definitely deserves 5 stars. He very effectively tended to all my concern areas I had mentioned but also areas I didn’t even realize needed relief. I really liked his technique, it was both therapeutic and relaxing. He knows his stuff. I’ll definitely be booking with him again next time and highly recommend him to anyone else.

July 2025 I have been treated by Dr Matthew Wong since Feb of this year. So grateful for his deep knowledge, sports and exercise training program and rehabilitation recovery steps that have moved me from a very high level of pain down to little or no pain and increase my nightly hours of much needed sleep.
